Hmmm... I don't see why it would be an upgrade to an HD.

Shadow is a great bike. Smooth, long lasting, power.

I have to concur too that each metric bike has their own characteristic and by looker. I don’t see why there is even a need to associate upgrade as facelift for a Harley. If you want a Harley, just go and buy one. Why go all the trouble to even convert or modify when it isn’t going to sound like or vibrate like one? By the way, it will never be an achievement cause; it is more of an insult to whoever the manufacturer was. :sian:

I think he posted it when he was tired, so he misinterpret your posting.

yup, A HD still a HD and Shadow will be still a shadow 'cos they work differently. Gear changes is the least of them, for a start.

SORRY! I missed the word "rider" as I was reading thru too fast. Anyway, it isn't an achievement for a Shadow rider to upgrade to Harley so to speak. It is more like part of a process and for some, it is all about heritage. :)

i'll be looking into the comfort of the bike. The look, symmetrically shaped is very important to me too. The size of it, for example wheelbase and weight. The size of the engine, for torque and power. And lastly i like a maintenance-free drive shaft for my bike.

depends on what you use the ""cruiser" for.

firstly, i dont really consider my 883R a cruiser at all becos i ride it as a citybike. It is really what it is named - a sportster.

So top on my list is good handling, nice styling and sufficient torque for short bursts required in city riding. I dont bother about pillion becos i ride alone.

and high speed is really at the bottom of my list becos i hardly even go pass 100km/hr in Singapore.

I dont clamor for big twins becos i have no practical use for them at all.

Maybe later when i retire and go back to longer rides out of town.

For now, my 883R is the perfect bike for my requirements.

The appearance of our bikes is a direct representation of the rider's character. Inevitably, there are connotations tied to the Brands and Manufacturers. That we are powerless over for it is an endless debate. Liked mindedness is what we look out for in any aspect of hobbies or interests. When One is truly enlightened, that individual will have developed his character and personality, thus will his ride.

It’s the same principal as maturing from a teenager to adulthood. And only then will we find true happiness and meaning to our interest. However, if the reverse was made; which is to be a trend follower than a trend setter. Emptiness is what we find at the end of the road.

Peace…

As claimed, There's a need to drive when we have a Family. But all that is needed to ride is Dream... Many are still dreaming about it.

I love my bike, and each and every bike has its own personality. Thus it creates character. Ride happy and go lucky or simply just riding with an attitude. Dont just use a cruiser for transport, use it as a fashion accessory or u can treat it like a family member. Travel in style! Be loud, be proud. To me, Riding freely is my pride and joy. Dress for the crash and ride hard or stay home.

Although my bike (Mystique) has gone. There are more rides left in me. In loving millage and memories, may u, my beloved bike rest in peace.

Hi, was wondering if the Exhaust for the MT 01 cause discomfort to rider / pillion due to the heat.

Is it hot like an R1 or just warm like a FZ6 ? thanks.

I love drag bars.

Preferable shaft drive for easy maintenance.

Shoud be over 1 litre so that have the instant monstrous torque.
