hey guys..

 

juz got my fz1s last 2 days ago.. nw running in..

 

wah the 1st top up of petrol was this morning...

lileage b4 reserve was 230km..

 

is this normal or could it be better..

 

usually wats the mileage u guys have b4 going to reserve??

 

and should i do my oil change at 500km or 1000km??

 

thanx guys.. need ur feedbacks.. Noob here.. :cheeky:

Abt dere for city riding. Reserve can last abt 40-60km.

 

and should i do my oil change at 500km or 1000km

 

Urm.. I did mine every 500km until I hit 2000km, mineral base. Replaced oil filter every other change. I think the other guys have a diff method.

hey bro , got my fz1 not too long ago , can hit 210 or 215, then reserve , goes up to 60km. i did my first servicng at 1000km , then mineral oil then 1500 i change to semi .

Mileage is usually a bit down during the break-in period.

 

With an 18L tank (and 3+ reserve), you should be able to hit abt 250 or 260km till reserve after full run in. This was what I used to get on my 04'R1, which is basically the same engine, and tank capacity as the FZ1. During break-in, I also got abt 220 to 230. It improved gradually.

 

So, no worries.

i guess the best is u trade in la. . . try asp at bendemeer. my wave-i they take in 1500! but if i never trade in they say the highes they can offer is 700.

althogh i know it is two different bikes but look at the difference . . .

which shop at bendeemer, bike production offer me 4k for a FT spec 1, oso asking around other bike shop for the FZ6 to see what's the diff.. lo

 

tell mi more abt yr bike, i might have a friends who's interested in a S4.

Maybe i unknowingly open more throttle to get the same riding style as on the r1 . :cheeky:

i always get tat sound after riding in the rain or a bike wash.

to mi, i just hack care...

 

i had this sound whenever i press the front brakes.. i also hack care.. :cheeky:

the orginal yamaha brake pad is like that one

some sing song some dont

Mine also sing

change to after-market type will cure the song :cheeky:

ppl who dunt like the IU on the handle bar and dunt mind holes being drilled on ur fairing can try to mount ur IU at the header faring .

my suggestion is, i m sure ur bike is nt 5k or 3k rite?

so why treat it ike one? an iu is of course a must but at the same time an eyesore on the bike but wat to do. sacrifice a little bit lah rather than have to drill holes in places where holes are not supposed to. no matter how u try to insulate, i m sure one way or another, something will happen. then only u would say, should have fixed bracket man.

yup... I've a friend who mount his iu unit on his faring, after a few months, his faring crack and had to get metal plates to remount his iu.

On average, every three days, 1 motorcyclist or a pillion die or is seriously injured in a traffic accident. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous enough. Riding recklessly is Suicidal.

hi guys, i have a silver fazer 1k. first generation. Have been with the bike for almost a year. Great bike and very practical, (you can put boxes on it and it doesn't look f**king ugly). Anyway, would like to get to know you guys and have kaki and exchange opinions.

if you tok bout drill a hole to install voltmeter...still can accept coz of light weight...but iu ...erm.. try not to...like wat the other say... :)

I don't have class 3 license haha, anyway cannot afford car ... maybe next time got family then think about car ba...

 

Does the FZ-1 looks small? I have 2 person asking whether its a 250cc bike haha...

 

simply...replied:does a 250cc bike comes with a Size190 tyre :cheeky: haha...or a R1 engine?
