hmmm... bro, i suppose ur ride is a fz1 s1 right? if this is so, i'm sorry to say tht i dun really knows the pts for fz1 s1 just in case it is not the same as my fz6 s2. perhaps the seniors could advise? :cheeky:

i believe that grounding is mainly to prevent all those electric applications from current leakage and now allowing short circuit or even electrocuted. a ground wire provides a much lesser path to ground so that electricity will take the easiest path or resistance without going through you. perhaps there might have someone 2nd to that...

Thanks bro.

Frame (steel) and engine. Good enuff.

Frame?? Engine?? Then how about starter coil, rectifier, headlight???

Cause when i do grounding for my pervious S4, i did all these pt...

Can do??

And for engine nd frame, where to take the pt... Any pt can??? Sorry for the noob question... Cause although i had been riding my FZ1 for almost a year, dont really go and figure out the things for this bike, until nw...

Many thanks again...

You changed the springs for your shocks? Which make you are using? HyperPro?

Try RaceTech gold Valve for the shocks, will improve the hardness for the fronts and response.

So what's this all about?

Did Yamaha cut costs on the FZ6?

It RaceTech bro. I have heard of the goodness from my racing guru buddy. He was one of his kind. He would go for handling performance before he even rush for power curve on his FZ6. He did mentioned that FZ6 S2 suspension dun really up to the minimum requirement. So for this bike he go for the handling scope 1st.

Haha, he keep 'Poisoning' me to go for the valves mod, but for the nx few mths i am tie down with hard budget so LL no way to go for newer stuffs.

My bro mentioned about Teck Thye for the shock works, he was there and the work satisfy him. So i presume it must be good. For my bro is those that very stringent on how ppl handle his 'baby' & the after product.

Some RaceTech info only

Bro.

NONE of the stock Fazers have anything a trackgoer would consider "minimum handling performance"

FZ series bikes are road oriented. Even then, on the road, the suspensions can just barely make it only.

It's a blackout edition.

Swing arm design changed too.

But funny Japanese, you see the caliper piston screws...it's silver on the blackout and black screws caps on the silver.

Agree. For track goers stock FZ's handling is nothing close to their requirement. Like i always say, if want to go track, get R1. FZ is milder but suffice to run along or over take other similar class.
