Anyone know how many ml of fork oil to put into each front fork for FZ1 according to the manual?? Maxima 15w good??? welcome any other good suggestion.

 

most suspension will be using maxima oil for suspension..

 

oil weight differs from individual rider's preference and riding habits.. some like it hard, some like it soft..

 

do check with a suspension tech for more info.. i always go to mezzo for most of my suspension needs... :)

not really small la... 150-200 km per top up should be a problem... right?

errr... we are referring to 和尚庙's fz1... it's certainly not 2010 model...

 

anyway, fz1 gen 2 tank is 18L inclusive of reserve, if like what you said it's 17KM/L, you should be able to get 306KM till your tank dry up...

if we dun include reserve, you should be able to get 248.2KM till your fuel starts to blink...

 

right?

Went to Melaka by myself today and finally tried my top end after all my hardwork tuning this baby..280km/h stock speedo reading & 259km/h calibrated speedo(-8.1%) on a 16t and still climbing..:angel:

..was late today because of the heavy rain so I guess left without me:(

ya I got the speedohealer to compensate for the 16t & 190/55(stock 190/50) rear tyre..I calculated the stock speedo speed by just adding back the 8.1% that I have minus off my current speedo.Plus it gives you the 'top speed recall' which is really helpful:)

i meant, i tot the speedohealer will display the actual speed onto your speedometer directly, right?

i'm thinking of getting that on 23rd... maybe u can gime more details how it works beside what is stated on it's web? ;)

1 day trip to Cameron! should be on the Sunday...

so far got dolf and myself... everything yet to confirm...

i haven gone any riding trip wif u with ur red speeder lei...

the last one is our KL + faser's hill lei which was many many months back lei...

 

hmm.. i discuss with my gf 1st.. 1 day trip not staying over at cameron ah..

you mean my red slowie ah.. this year end should have chance lah.. before i change fresh tyres.. i hope my cycle for tyres is; fresh for track, after a few sessions then commute and tour, about 10-12 months change for track again.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

hi guys , my 03 fz1s is getting only 9.66km/l . is this something i should be worried about. i read that its usually 15-19km/l . if its true , wad can be the cause of this prob ? riding style wise , since i got the bike , i havent exceed 4k rpm on all gears. hellLLLPPPP ~@@@!!!!!
