any recommended tyres for 09' FZ1S? not for track use, this will be my first change

i am considering Michelin PR2, any review on this.

 

i think quite a few here are using PR2, heard/read its quite a lasting tyre..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

there's a coming track session? when? no1 informed me.. but with my current set of tyres, i dont really dare to go.. no $$ to change..

I'm using pirelli angel st. Not a bad tyre n good reviews abt it too. Good compound mixture. N i tink it just worn e contract for f1 n motogp. Anyways, it comes wif my bike n so far i use it, quite good. Only thing i tink its not long lasting due to its compound....

woah! 920!!! gt 1 guy sellin his spare magnetic coil for 100+ at garage sales..swey la u bro..anyway..y change?

 

The spare one might not last as its a 2nd hand piece.From what i know,our coil can only last most to most 4 yrs,or 2 yrs if u're a regular tourer.I change becoz mine crumpled after the magnets fell off n crush the coil...the problem lies with the kind of glue used on the magnets.I suppose they can't really withstand high temp.

why so ex??? I asked AM and he quoted me $290 for the Magnetic coil. U change the coil basket too??? That coil basket is about $450!!! what else did u change and which shop u changed it??

 

I changed the whole assembly,meaning the coil assembly n the magnet housing.The Jap yen resulted in this price hike.I changed at Bikewerkz.Ah Beng never chop me becoz i called the parts supplier myself and they quote me d same price.Mine includes workmanship from Ah Beng himself n towing fee.Ah Beng was shocked at d price too.

So u guys manage to find a cheaper alternative,then congrats to u.I think i can trust Ah Beng

PR2 FTW. Do try the 180 for the rear if you want faster turn in.
