Hi guys. I fear my rear suspensions are in need of a spring change. Rear dives so much despite being max. And thats without pillion and boxes!

Where will you guys send your bikes for a suspension rebuild? I've had good experience from suspension specialist @ braddel. Any other places you guys reccomend for front fork rebuild (replace fork oil and oil seals) and rear shock rebuild (replace spring and refill nitrogen, replace oils and seals)?

place to go, mezzo @ kaki bukit. same row as motoworld.. you can stand beside the man and watch him work on your suspension if you got the time.. will tune and set the shock to your riding preferences.

most likely your rear shock has no more gas and minimal amount of oil left. hence the feel is very soft and mushy. possible that the spring is a goner as well.

suspensions should be serviced within a 12-18mth window.. but it depending on how often you ride the bike.

for spark plug socket, try visiting mustafa... cheap but usable... i used to see it there... :)

if u gg tonight before lks betweem 1830-2030, u may see one of our fellow fazerian there... :D

Mustafa has stock for a spark plug socket head for a half drive ratchet? Last time i went there, i had difficulty locating a ratchet handles, let alone the socket heads.

Makes me wonder where motortiams purchase theirs.

Also looking for an oil filter tool that is compatible with my half drive ratchets. Similar to what pat glenn uses in the website i shared a few pages back. Ya reckon autobacs sells this? Not spark plug adapters, of course. The oil filter tool.

Changed stock wind shield to a zero gravity sport touring windshield. Can't help thinking that it feels cheap.

Also, my favourite hardware shop doesn't stock a motorcycle spark plug socket for my half drive socket. Any ideas where I can purchase one?

180 from unique motorsports. Its not offensively big, requires no additional brackets, despite the flex, doesnt vibrate at cruise speeds.

You need to hurry, unique told me i am holding the last clear windshield in stock. Tinted left.

I am average sized. 175cm tall. No miss with steering as I am happy with the posture.

Upright, the wind shield is chest level. Turbulence hits upper chest level at cruising speeds.

Shifting into an aggressive posture is no problem.

you will be like a small boy in the candy store when you go there and flip their catalogs.. 1 thing to note: they only accept cash...

POSB/DBS atm is nearby though.. if other banks, better to withdraw first before going down.. i got my set of socket wrench and ratchet. not say very expensive or cheap, but a good investment IMO..

How much for a typical socket and ratchet set?

Local sheng shiong sells a comprehensive set for cheap. 20 bucks. You lose a socket, cry lor. Comes with spark plug adapter too! But car size. Not useful unless you have a car, or a 2t bike.

Quality is acceptable. If it can loosen my rear wheel shaft for tightening chain, good enough for me. I used a heavy duty handle to turn the socket though, dont want to damange the mechanism.
