i remembered reading in the thread sometime back that the new IU drains the battery.. any remedy/recommendation?

 

the slimmer IU doesn't come with an internal battery of its own and it's usually tap to your bike's battery.

 

in order not to drain your battery when not in use(when bike is off w/ cashcard inside), tap the connections to your ignition switch. IU will only be working when your bike is ON in that way.

 

do you need the unit often enough?

i dont go into ERP areas so I had all iu unit removed from all my bikes..i made mine a quick disconnect wire, the main unit i had the cateye adapter that clip onto the handlebar

Good morning. Goin back home now from night shift yesterday.

 

Wuigui--> how your handlebar? Any vibrations? Any difference in your riding after changing all the stuffs and servicing your bike?

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
