swat[/MENTION]_;7293870]Q&A:

Symptoms as follows

check engine light intermittent on & off,

no error codes initially, went to mech, bt cldnt find fault as when i was there, sui2 the check engine light went off

then tdy code 20 flashed once,

on/off ignition everything back to normal.

any diagnosis?

i noe code 20 is

diagnostic code 20 - Sidestand switch Set ON/OFF the sidestand

ECU code 20 - Intake air pressure sensor or atmospheric

but guess nth to do with the side stand, what wld the other one mean?

what was flashed is the no.'20' only

hw to tell if its a diagnostic code or a ECU code?

oh and its a Fz1 '07

Could be the wiring conneections to the ECU or FCE. The best is to send it to HL.

FZ1'07, local riding, gradual pickup, cruising mostly between 4 - 5k rpm. bmc air filter, fce, mini air box mod n slip on. manage the best of 20km/l. if not, normal is between 18 - 19km/l. if go malaysia, of cos wun get that figure. can get 17km/l very good liao. :D

Cheers. Wow yours probably the best, i have never achieve that numbers even in stock form.

btw just thinking out loud....

LV or Devil exhaust for my fz6 :p

any suggestions?

you might want to double check. if devil is really legal, then get devil exhausts.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

regina took my fz1 to fit on a devils , take pic....send to LTA approve, kana rejected, cos manual stated with a CAT , but the end can to mid has no cat...this happen in jan this year...till now no news from regina, gave up...anyway i find the devils for fz1 (that regina brought in) not loud and not as nice looking (compared to my back then leo vince factory evo II)

till now...i still find it not nice and its heavy

if u said it got nothing to do with the side stand, then for the other one, if i'm not wrong, perhaps you could like to check the serviceability of your air intake sensor which is somewhere near to the bottom of the air box, near to the looms of wires between your fuel tank & engine... sometimes, it could be just dirty... this is kinda common for fz1 folks as days goes by... :)

Think my wiring somewhere is messed up. Now my front tyre tpms unable to detect.. On monday left side low beam died, tonight both low beam died. But high beam still usable.. Anybody had the same situation? And now its reading at 14.2v which I never get b4.. Where to go to check all that? Helpppp..

u got tpms? simi brand? ur bike is it blue fz1 with tons of blings?

anyway, for tpms, if u said that only ur front tyre cannot be detected while the rear can, it cannot be your wiring being messed up... there are some things u got to check on your front tyre tpms transmitter, the inner sensor etc... or perhaps you can re-sync both the front & rear transmitter with the monitoring system...

for ur headlight bulbs, most likely it's due to wear & tear or sudden surge of electricity current la... if i'm not wrong, ur bike doesn't have grounding done right? if no, perhaps you would like to add in the groundings for ya bike...

anyway, ur voltmeter is reading 14.2v, which is at which situation? start up before cranking or idling or riding?

Im not sure about the brand and yes its that blue bike.. Tried re sync but still in indicates NSP. On some occasion while riding it will detect but it goes off again.. most probably would be the inner sensor or transmitter.. Btw the transmitter got any batt inside? The 14.2v reading is while riding.. Volt stabilizer is diff from grounding? If it is den dun think have any groundings done..

ok my fuel bars very not zhun lol. i on the last bar at 200km, i went till 237 then pump petrol. the petrol amounted to 11 plus litres. i didnt believe it so squeeze more till abit overflow at 12.3 litres. thats like 19.2km/l lol. guess my bikes ok after all.

then when i lifted the tank to clean the air filter, the excess petrol all spilled out onto the floor! wasted more than 1 litre of petrol i bet. HAHA
