hi all, I have a problem with my FZ6s2. The problem is that my radiator fan is not working. Usually the fan will turn on automatically when the temperature of the bike reaches 100c. But seems like the fan is not turn on for my bike. i had changed it once already in April last year. Was wondering does the fan spoilt so easily?

Sounds electrical. I didn't change my fan before since I own this bike..

How much was it? Any brand/model, or unbranded? How's the light... is it more towards blue/white or yellow? I'm guessing xenon should be towards white, but not sure if that's universally true.

Also, any information on the electrics - what is the wattage, and the current drawn? Does it require any upgrade to the electrical system?

Sorry for asking so many questions, thanks in advance!!

EDIT : Is this the thread you bought from? http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/325889-lt-CMO-gt-White-Bulb-Specialist

yep correct that mo. i think all the info u need in that thread. $15 for 2 bulbs cannot buy just one. so 2 diff sizes for fz6, H4 and H7 will be 2 boxes. (4 bulbs. 2 can keep as spare)

2008 July - 2010 March: Daelim Roadwin R 125 (FBC 8363 K)

2010 March - 2011 September: SYM GTS 200 (FBD 7445 J)

2011 September - 2013 April: Yamaha Fazer fz6s2 (FBB 5824 Y)

2013 March - now: Honda NC700XD (FBH **** D)

Limbat allows the sale of 1 h4 and 1h7 for our fz6. No other shops allow that so far.

I'm having an Arrow mid-pipe clearance problem, either Arrow helps me with a mid-pipe specially made to accommodate the TTX36, which is not in the market or the Ohlins goes...whichever comes first;)

Measure pipe diameters at both ends. Get Seng Kwang to fabricate one.

Or you modify?

After the first time I change my fan, I seldom allow my fan to turn on too often. That's why I was also amuse that why did my fan spoilt again. Most likely have to bring bike to bakeshop to have it checked. Need to spent almost full day there again. Hopefully can be fix without changing the fan. The first time i change the fan cost me $220.

X1 - FZ 8***K

Ya it's very dissapointing but there is another Ohlins model that might work but not a TTX. I'll see what happens and if there are more options.

Ya that's one option. Cant modify the original, might want to sell one day:)

Another option is to change the piggy-back gas/air reservoir to an external one like the FZ1 design but not cost effective.

There is one problem however if u choose to fabricate e midpipe. The slightly altered shape will also affect the exhaust gas flow. Too much effect and it will defeat the purpose if having an Arrow midpipe in e first place.

To all fz6 riders, who is interested in getting preload adjusters for their front fork for abt $120?

Ordering them from Bikeworks but ah beng says need minimum order of 10 in order to bring in. Interested parties pls contact Bikeworks yourself :)

What is the address for & tel no. for Bikeworks? Is the mass ordering still on? How much is the labour charges to install this? During installation, must change fork oli & fork seal again?

Don`t need to change fork oil or seal.... he just do a swap for the cap only.... from normal cap to adjustable cap. I guess the Mo price is inclusive of installation.

Circle in yellow is the thing he change....(might look diff from mine)
