May I ask, as I am a little vertically challenged(1.62m) right now im semi ballet dancing. is there any way that I cn lower the bike? Eg. cut the seat, lower fork/ rear suspension or any other better way? Thanks for ur help n advice in advance.✌

Thinking of getting a Fazer... Can you guys tell me, besides the looks, why would someone choose the FZ1 over FZ6 besides the looks?

 

Everyone tells me 600cc is more than sufficient in SG road and it will probably be under-utilised and money will be wasted on insurance and road tax. So, please enlighten me. Thank you!

there r a few ways to lower the seat height..

 

first, r u going to tour with your fz6? if u r intending to, i dun suggest cutting the seat cushion cus ur butt will suffer if u go for long distance rides..

 

u can try lower link.. this will lower ur seat height by a couple of CMs.. this is one of the cheapest way beside cutting seat cushion..

 

else, u can get a aftermarket suspension that allows u to adjust the height at will..

 

most expensive mod is to change the rim size from 17" to lower e.g 15" or 14" or..

 

lastly, pillion ur gf permanently.. hehehe..

Looks is always subjective.

Yes 600cc is more than enough. 400cc is enough. So if talking about cost, 600cc is already wasting insurance and road tax.

Rs bikes are open today@ autobay..what happend is locking nut and washer for front sprocket disappwared. As a result front sprocket eat into threading of the sprocket shaft. Need to replace sprocket shaft. To do this need to strip part of engine.

 

I suspect unique f'ed up while changing my sprocket few weeks ago

woah..disappeared?...hm, only possibility is that didnt fix back the nut to lock the sprocket.

 

if not very hard for the nut to come out of the front sprocket cover.
