Tonight i show u my problem... Now using mouth breathing guard so not tat bad... I prefer ride with visor close fully but now only can with the breathing guard. But i wish to remove the guard then can more comfy.

 

As for the products, i ve found a few tat looks good. With many positive reviews. But mostly not found in sg.

1) Fog City Pro Shield Insert (17 ~ 19 should be USD)

2) Clarity Defog It (8++ should be USD)

 

I called up motoworld, actually they ve. But the item is specified for Shoei... lol. I said my helmet is HJC tat's y they say dun ve. So later i go c c compare. Then buy online.

 

ur problem so serious meh? lol.. i also have a HJC full face $100 helmet mah.. hahaha..

 

motoWorld that one is selling S$10++ if i din hear wrong.. i was there (lavender motoWorld) 2 saturdays ago, an angmo bought it..

 

aiyo shoei or HJC is still helmets wad.. got specifically for which brand for anti fog spray meh? lol..

hi,

 

i have a problem with my fazer 600. the problem is intermittent.

 

when i turn the key, the display refuse to turn on but i can hear the bike starting up as per normal. But when i crank the bike at Neutral, the display will fire up. I have no way to force this situation to reproduce at will, but i'm hoping there's nothing wrong w the system. It does not matter which gear because then i turn the key it should light up, but i can don't crank.

 

appreciate any help.

 

 

 

sounds like a electrical connection issue to me, try to check the connections all the way from the meter display connection till ur ecu.. u can try tracing starting the connector from the back of ur meter display onwards..

 

btw, which year bike? S or N version?

 

thanks for the advice. Maybe go through some pot holes then loosen as you suggested.... 2004 version S. i have no idea how to trace the wire but i will try. i hope don't require taking anything apart.

 

anyone else has suggestion? i'm just thinking, if after crank, the display will fire up, then is it still possible just loose wire? I shake the bike also never come to life, must crank then it will awaken.

Wakaka. Maybe we using same helmet. I bought the promotion tat time. 2 for $200.

 

MotoWorld no sell item (2), wat they ve is "muc off" brand and it's $19+. But i research "muc off" anti fog, the company themself specific tat the spray will last for 5 days... Some reviews says can last for months but if the company themself not confient... =X

 

Item 1 got specifications. Becoz some helmet manufacturers ve cooperation with them. For eg: arai some models come pre installed. And even HJC newer models also come pre installed with another brand of anti fog inserts. (Did a fair bit of reading the past few days)

 

Item 2 spray is free for all.

old version the exhaust is by the side, looks a bit like fz1 gen1..

newer version it's dual exhaust at the rear near brake light & pillion seat.. hahaha..

 

S version u will have some bit of taking things apart becus of the fairing.. hahaha..

u got to be a little bit more mechanically savvy if u planning to troubleshoot ur own.. it's not a too hard thing to do but it's also not a easy feat for mechanically non savvy folks.. i took out the whole head fairing tat day along with all the necessary nuts & bolts & connections & all kinds of twists & turns jus to install my projectors like the below, it's quite tedious too.. hahaha..

 

else, i would really strongly recommend u to approach ur fav bike shop..

i personally tried the fastest is 7+ hrs, from SG to Thailand, non break stop, immediate TnG style at every petrol stop..

 

i also tried 19 hrs of ride, from Thailand to SG, over night ride kind, super tired & tedious..

 

i also tried 18 hrs from SG to Thailand and back to SG the same day.. not tired at all.. i still can unpack my stuffs, wash my equipments, surf net & blah blah blah for another 3-4 hrs before sleep.. hahaha..

 

anyway, average the standard relax ride is ard 10 hrs..

- we should be riding slow, don't try to overtake the first bike unless you know your way..

- we will come back sillyporeland via Woodlands checkpoint..

- in case of wet weather, do bring ur rain coat.. if it's harsh weather, i'll inform everyone early that the gathering will be cancelled via sms..

i can easily find a video/step-by-step guide to remove the head, but if i'm not sure what to check, or don't even have a specific cable to look for then, maybe not...

 

all my other mods had very clear pictures and some had videos so i don't mind taking everything apart.

 

thank you for the suggestion though! i'll monitor the situation a bit more. After i turned the key many many times, the problem seems to be gone. maybe something to do with the contacts in the keyhole thingy. rain/grease etc.
