hi there, the diff in price is 2k...but tink about the power diff between the 2, 95bhp for the 600 compare to the 143bhp for the 1000, 49bhp diff...is worth paying the xtra 300buck per year...tatz wat i feel when i bought mine...well its up to u lah...tink about it. :goodluck: the 1000 in Australia's naked bike series is the champion performance race bike compare to the rest of the naked bikes.

I would have bought the 1000 if not for the size and weight. Even for the 600 I have to almost tiptoe (but getting used to it). Also, I don't go to Msia, so find that 600cc is already far more than adequate for Singapore roads. Even at 120kmh, rpm is only 6k... really waste the power of the engine.

Besides, I like the undertail pipes for the 600, even though the mid-range is a bit lacking. Having said that, by the time I change to 2nd gear from traffic lights, the cars already left 60-70 m behind... so even 600cc is no small bananas.

Buy the one u like bro.

How's your fuel consumption like? Another question:

When travelling at about 120km/h, the bikes are at what RPM? Fazer1000...

I know the tops for the 100 is about 250....Fazer 600?

Not really concerned about the tops really but just wanna know if touring at 130-150, will stress the engine or not with my total mass of 210++kg on the bikes

Need bros advice here...

(i) When bike is put on centrestand, I notice that the rear wheel is not spinning in a perfectly smooth line ie there is a slight wobble.

(ii) When release handlebars when bike is on the move, the bike tends to be moving left quite distinctly. Is this related to (i) above?

My fuel consumption is still only about 18 km/l, even though I try to be very conscious about changing up gears without over revving the engine etc, keep to speeds below 100 kmh on highway etc. Is this related to (i) above?

Anyone experienced this, or is it pretty normal? Thanks all.

If it's a problem, which shop is best to solve it?

i always put my bike on main stand but it dun have the wobble like wat u have jus say but as for the moving towards left side when releasing the handle bar, i also have the problem and the HL guy told mi that if i wan to release handle bar to test the bike alignment, have to do it at 80km/hr which will be the most accurate.. hope this help

Yah... I let go of the bars at about 80 kmh and the bike veers left. Does it mean something is out of alignment then? I just changed my tires but don't know if the mechanic did any balancing or anything. U think I can fix at a shop or must go to HL? Thanks!

According to general bike knowledge.... tink if u release ur handle bar @ 80kmph.... the bike handle tends to wobble unless go to higher speed...

Since the new FZ6 has underseat exhaust instead of exhaust on the right side... it, by default, eliminates the probz of imbalance weight distribution on the left n right side.....

Thus the underseat exhaust will give the bike go weight distribution, meaning by default the bike would not veer to any side n maintain a straight-line... this maybe due to wheel alignment imbalance.. or worst... rider's own posture probz....

Hope this will help... if urz a new bike.. best go back to HL.... or else.. if the probz got worse tru other bike shops.. dun tink HL will give ya the full warranty???

for my bike, overall the handling is fine is only i felt that the steering cone abit loose that's y i go back to HL to tighten it. The rest is ok. Anyway i dun think there is anyone wanted to risk their life for letting go the handler bar at 80km/hr or more... one thing for sure is that i wun do it at that speed.
