If at $17,500 that be a good buy, I bought mine at $18,500 OTR after trading in my Shadow 750 for $5K, actually I would have got more if I traded in my Vmax...but guess I have too much of a sentimental value with my max.... Oh forgot to mention i traded with Loois motor

yep. looi quoted me $18.5k for the FZ1 as the all-inclusive price yesterday as well.

how is their after purchase package? or is there one in the first place?

 

for the hepco & becker boxes, they have a custom rack frame for the fz1? or isit 1 size fits all? is it true for the fz1 that after fitting the sub-cowl, cannot fit the crashbar?

looi quoted me 18.5k

HL quoted me 19K+ ($800 additional if add the micron exhaust)

 

btw, M-technik is at JALAN WANGI near macpherson rd? Cos i can't find jalan wanji in streetdirectory.

asking vmaxxmadness abt delivery speed of looi. any input? btw can hepco and becker sidebox be used as a topbox or izzit strictly a sidebox? thot if i got a pair of the 40L panniers, might use 1 as a topbox for local ride and both for touring. such an option possible?

icic i think the 40l panniers is mainly for side panniers only. maybe u can ask moka abt it cuz he is using the 40l now

just bought the bike from there today its 05 red/maroon and black. however 3% gst not yet charged. i guess this is their kopi money or admin charge. in all total is 17500 + 500 (3%gst. 2% absorb by company) == 18000. i guess still cheaper. i already confirmed no "collection keys" fee. other shops quote me way above 18k.

which other shops did you approach for a quote? so the bike is purely stock? they did not throw in any accessories?

I be retaining my 2-digit number plate so the bike will only be ready after 17 Feb....also I have request for 40L Hepco & becker side boxes, HEL steel braided hose for the brake lines, rear hugger, sliders, scott oiler to be fitted...If no number retention then by this saturday I could have got the bike.

 

loois quote for me was OTR $18,500 inclusives of GST but excludes the extra accessories...

 

so till then, vmax rules......

Hi everyone... Been reading this thread for awhile. Very keen to get a Fazer 1000 now that i have got my class2. Anyway, just a few questions for those already in the fazer family:

 

1. Where did you buy the bike from?

2. Which model/year?

3. At what price OTR?

4. What is the interest rate charged?

5. What are the extra charges? Agreement fees etc.?

6. Which insurance and how much to pay relative to age?

7. Any free accessories included in price package?

I brought my fazer6 fr loois too.3 days deliver,as they have stock for my bike.straight forward and no hidden cost like what vmaxxmadness said.But the pple working at the top floor cannt make it,always show me a black face when I go to pay installment,as if I own them alot.

 

 

The H&B cannot interchange fr side box to top box,nt like givi.

that i got to agree with you. Anyway I dont think I gonna see them much as I gonna just dump about 3 months installment everytime and my loan only 2 years so get to see them 8 times for the whole 2 years?

the bike is purely stock as in no added accessories. is it supposed to come with the xtra goodies ? cos my fazer fren didnt mention them to me. other than that, the shop did propose the akra but i didnt opt for it for now. steel braided lines would be nice as well as the crash bars. how much would the crash barss cost ? will meet up with u guys when i get my bike. should be soon enuf

had asked cos i got the fazer brochure from Hong Leong(new place at ubi rite?) and saw the accessories for the fazer. The usual stuff... touring shield, cowl, etc.

i think crash bars could be fabricated by seng kwang rite? The fazer guys here would know more.

my crash bar is from hepco n i think hepco also have crash bar for fazer1

if install seng kwang crash bars cannot play corner....sad.....

The orginal yamaha parts is quite ex and changes when euro raise.But its very nice.H&B crash guard is gd.
