I'm wondering hows the performance of a Steed Springer like, and how is it comparing to the other models of Steeds and Shadows, Dragstar. Kinda interested in one but doesnt seem much left in Singapore.

I can only comment on the Steed and Shadow since I've ridden both. My buddy used to ride a Shadow and we will swap bikes.

I prefer the Steed. Handling and pickup is much better, the Shadow felt to me to be slow and clumsy (no offense to shadow owners, my opinion only..:D)

On a personal note, I prefer the look of the Steed. The Shadow looks pretentious to me, like overloading it with stuff to look big, whereas I like the chopped minimalist look of the Steed.

Actually I think the Springer Steed is the best looking of the lot, but I've never ridden one, but guess the maintenance of the springs will be a headache.

Not to compare only Shadow and Steed.

In general, bike with less weight and good dynamic drag perform better, putting aside the power donation.

Steed and Shadow has their pros and cons. Steed has better overall performance but Shadow is more comfy for long distance ride.

Personally, I had owned 02 Steed in my riding history, the second one was the Springer. Front feels even more heavy after I change to drag bar but after a week, it feels normal again. I like the damn look ... LOL

There is a springer steed always parked at Jln Kayu near the western food shop, everytime I pass by, I'll give it a second look as it looks very much like a springer softail. Agree that it is a very nice bike.

butta... i dont understand why HD springer is at top end of price chart ? HD SG price list

The "standard" Softail Springer is not in the 2007 stable.

The one you see on the list is the Limited Edition CVO Screamin' Eagle Softail Springer. 1800cc as opposed to the normal '07 BigTwins that have only 1585cc.

Lots of other juicy parts as compared to the 'usual' stock Harleys. Needless to say, a lot more expensive as well...
