hey guys. i just got my rw 2nd from a friend. i tried the top speed it could reach 120 for as i modified the cdi, cut the catalyzer , empty the exhaust can , changed air filter to knn.. it could reach 130 if i drag on a straight road.. so far my fc is 38/l as i pumped around 9L when im at 350 click on my trip meter. im using 150 rear 120 front tyres. Im thinking of changing my exhaust to moriwaki but it is not street legal. Anyone here who have moriwaki installed full system care to fill me in the difference in hp/pickup/topend and not to mention the sound it makes..

u can check with cka for 2nd hand moriwaki....they may have it.

 

btw, did your 150 rear tyre rub against the chain??

do a few hard braking......but make sure there r no vehicles behind b4 trying it.

rw weight about 135kg, on the heavier side of 2b bikes.

most cubs r light weight, about 100kgs, others r around 110~120kgs.

it's good for training to built up strength if u intend to upgrade to class 2a n 2.

s4 weight about 200kgs, some sportbikes weight less than 200kgs.

No, previously i used 160 rear n didnt hit the chain too.. but i down size for performance. My rw is 125 cc the 1st edition with the gold body frame and carb engine.

Mayb u should try hyosung comet. its 180 dry weight .. i had it for half a year before i sold it cos of difficulty to get spare parts in singapore. Pretty good bike i can say but cons are slow pick up and heavy. Everypart in the bike from body frame to engine is steel unlike rw is plastic.

l0lx... lucky i still got a long way to get used to the weight... if not if i upgrade to 2a one year later... i may not be able to take the weight.. l0lx.. although i am FAT ~ but no strength... so sad... haha

Actually, balancing is the issue. When you get enough experience on this bike, it's almost weightless. Seriously, I'd tried heavier bike and they wouldn't budge even if i sit on them and waddle.

lols..i dropped the bike sideways twice during my first month of owning this bike:cry:, thank goodness there were no dents except for the tip of the handle bars. the shiny metal thing at the end of the handlebar. erm, what is that called?

Nt sure,bro. Wat i noe is dat cka bt batok will recommend to change a lot of things even when dey r nt faulty. A bit frustrated wif their service aredi... =(

Wow! Ur fc very good. Mine is 28 km/l. I tot mine is considered good,until i saw ur fc. Any tips on improving e fc other than downsizing e wheels?

Adjust your carb setting leaner. That will save on your FC. But too lean is not a good thing.

just wanna check some of my internal parts...

my gearbox abit xiao la, got the clak2 sound some times...

gear box sure dam ex....

 

btw, how bout clutch and clutch cable??

also depends on load like rider n pillion weight plus plus.

lesser load can save fuel too.

 

carb set too lean = poor pickup, engine runs very hot.

carb set too rich = good pickup, powerful but waste fuel.

well compared to its sibilling the new rwr ur bike is still light...

nudge u 4get its dry is 168kg plus fuel 14.85L so adds up to 180++ hahahaha

just got myself involved a minor accident with a car.

no damage on bike, a dent n paint scratched on car.

realised i'm not alert n too frail to ride, considering giving up my ride.

selling a well maintained roadwin 2004, looking for around S$2.3k.

only problem is fuel gauge indicator not indicating full (shows 3/4) n empty (on top of red mark).

top speed 108kph (speedometer indicates 120kph).

odometer @ 58,000 km.

coe till 2014 mar 31.

all mods listed at info, will give eo+oil-filter(2 qty), orig header, sprockets.

those r oil tubes to cooler, it's for cooling engine oil (eo) when engine is running.

eo is pump up to cooler as u ride cold air rush thru coolers' fin to cool down eo n flow back to engine.

Thanks. you seem very knowledgable. I just bought a 2 year old yellow roadwin X5. Been riding for 1 month now and am happy with it. Reason is i know what to expect from a 140cc 4 stroke bike that is also big.
