check the tyre wall for max pressure (cold).

cold means do not pump after a long ride.

short distance n slow ride will not warm up the tyre.

or wait for 10 mins to let tyre cool down b4 pump.

do not pump more than max.

different brand/made/type tyre have different max pressure.

general guide for tyre pressure:

front 80% of max.

rear 90% of max.

under/over pressure tyre will wear irregularly.

correction for oem tyres:

110/70 front is 200 kpa, 2.00 kgf or 29 psi.

140/60 rear is 200 kpa, 2.00 kgf or 29 psi, with pillion is 225 kpa, 2.25 kgf or 32 psi.

it's a minor accident, no damage to bike or injury.

just a dent n paint scratched on the car.

it's more like a wakeup call.

if a car jammed brake, can't react until too late.

will ride for leisure n avoid those driver idiots if possible.

it's second occurrence, idiot drivers jammed their brake.

first was on a straight road, light traffic, driver jammed brake to change direction.

second were on stopped heavy traffic, red light turn green, traffic start to move off n suddenly front vehicle jammed brake.

really hate those burly drivers.

read this first b4 trying out any products;

http://www.fuelsaving.info/debunk.htm

i discourage anyone from using any fuel saving products instead use the money on good quality engine oil.

use common sense, if any of those fuel saving products r really good, everyone will be using it.

for example broquet is one of them.

here in sillypore, we can't sue for a useless, do nothing n cause no harm or effect product.

they can't sell it in USA coz they will definitely be sue for falsify intentions.

if u want to save fuel detune your carb setting to lean (set to stock).

u want power will consume more fuel.

u want save fuel, performance will drop.

there no way have both saving fuel n power performance together.

pick your choice.

Posted

other fuel saving techniques:

lessen load, tat means slim down.

dun rush from point a to b.

dun brake suddenly or heavily.

dun speed above 60kph.

gradually or slowly open throttle.

roll down to stop.

check tyres' pressure every week n maintain it at 2 bars (29 psi).

taking a break from riding.....

went down to cka n brought b-bone handlebar-end.

it's short by half length, now at least got an inch more clearance btwn cars. :cheeky:

of course the handle will vibs a bit more but it's not so much to be annoyed.

cons:

half an inch closer to tarmac if drop bike.

handle vibs a bit more, not annoying at all.

pros:

half an inch more clearance btwn cars on each side....seems like sillypore cars r getting bigger. feels tighter when squeezing btwn cars nowadays.

i fell down on my bike some time ago and my tachometer go smashed..i tried looking for replacements meters but most of them couldn't fit..Yamaha RXZ couldn't fit because they said it has 2 separate cables for the speedo and the RPM while Roadwin has only 1 calbe for the speedo and the other cable is computerized or something? do u guys know about any other meters that can fit onto the Roadwin? the original Daelim meter is quite expensive here, RM580 .omg

it's hard not to squeezing in-btwn, too many cars on the road.

all these accidents/incidents happens at walking pace, mostly at stop n go traffic.

nowadays too many road hoggers, brake jammers, speediers, tailgaters, double park waiting for parking lot, etc, etc, etc.

oh, it's a custom muffler i bought from a car exhaust shop near my area. it cost RM250. nothing really special bout it, juz made the exhaust sound louder with more base..and also reduced the vibration of the bike a little. :p

suppose, why not look for digital speedometer?

i'm sure malaysia have a lot of these types around, clik link:

http://www.motostrano.com/speedometers.html

cka replied me and i'm very pleased with their quick email reply, i asked them yesterday nite and i got a reply today, good service!:thumb: it costs SGD196. I could get it there in Singapore as i have relatives staying there.I've also came across digital meters, i saw a digital meter from a Demak 150 bike that i think could fit on the ROadwin. Will go and ask the Demak dealer and see whether i can get it on my bike, hopefully it can
