1) not keen.

2) chain should not touch the main stand.

is your chain loosen (stretched)?

need to adjust it.

cheap chain tensile strength is low therefore stretches very fast.

use x-ring or xw-ring which have higher tensile strength then u dun need to frequently adjust chain.

it is good practice to change sprockets n chain together as a set.

3) vibration can be dampen (reduce) by using 15t front sprocket.

or u can change handle grip to gel or foam to dampen vib.

4) wat do u mean by high rpm?

do u meant had to drag your bike in order to speed?

if your carb is in stock settings, your pickup is definitely not good.

try set your carb richer as i had posted many times over n over again.

time for u to learn the basic of motorcycle.

it's not just riding your bike but also have fun finding out the working mechanics of motorcycle.

do enjoy.

hey bro! congrats on getting ur roadwin! i used to own a roadwin too, n i just wanna share that when i first got my roadwin, the chain oso hitting the main stand!! n that's cos the chain is too slack. wad happened was that it had been rubbing for some while already, n that led to my chain n sprocket spoilt! so i had to replace one whole set. so, it's good that u get it tightened soon.

the rain water leaking into the tank, happened to me before, cos the seal (rubber portion) dried up n cracked, so got no perfect seal already. better get it checked!!!

Short pipe black surface? or Long pipe with chromed rainbow finishing? Usually, I only see ixil on display at CKA le. :faint: but none is legal.

dun think ixil is louder than hd.

for those dun know wat hd is, hd=harley davidson.

hd pipe r hollow, straight out from 1200~1800cc engine.

painful to the ear n fcuking loud even at idle.

i took a video of rwR with ixil system b4, sound is good.

sound decibel not even above 90db.

i tot some1 mentioned previous posting, lta approve ixil.

only if it is inspect$$+fee$$+approval cert$$.

xishuo, riding duc now.

dun ever miss engine desmodromic valves maintenance or else.

or learn how to do it yourself....most critical about duc bike.

just elaborating fact for fact, certain magazines r bias towards certain brands.

example if comparison of bikes 600 to 675cc, 675cc got advantage due to extra horsepower but they won't compare it with 750cc which in turn has the advantage of 75cc over 675cc bikes.

Hi Guys, its been quite awhile since i last posted. N i can see some new members joining the RW! :)

And an update since i last complained abt my brakes. I went to a bike shop at AMK Ave 10 to check abt the bike starting is getting weaker, turns out the 'recharger' for the battery is getting weak. $$$

Also, i asked the mechanic y there isnt any rear brakes when i step the pedal, it turns out tat the brake pump (which wasnt original) gets stuck easily, so i had it changed. 2 days after using, rear brakes r still working...

Also, since i was at the bike shop, i serviced my bike since the mechanic was quite friendly. When they released the used oil, my jaws dropped! The oil was dirty brown in color! I did the oil n spark plug change, added oil additive, restarted the bike, suddenly the bike became much smoother than before! Im loving my bike more than ever!

For guys who bought ur pre-owned bike from a bike shop, its better to have it checked by ur regular mechanic n probably spend abit for servicing....

Hmm... Mayb i wasnt so lucky in choosing the bike... Send my bike for Steering Cone replacement today... Most repaired except front shocks, front brake pads n clutch..

Up till today, my servicing n repairs bill already 20% of my bike purchase...
