alright thanks uncle soh...

dont see the bracket so i'll go down to shop and see what i can do...

is the carb drain tube a must? i inspected the tubes and noticed the translucent one has dust and dirt in it, meaning it hasnt had anything flowing out of it for quite some time now.

does dis mean its not a must to have these tubes?

racing in traffic...

it's OK, no harm will happen.

it's there for a purpose so tat wun stain ur bike when topping up fuel overflow or draining carb's bowl.

dust n grime will collect at the end of the tubes coz it's at the bottom.

drain tubes r directional for fuel to flow out when draining carb's bowl or topping up overflow fuel.

breather tube is to neutralize the internal of crankcase pressure to be the same ambient pressure.

im changing to it cause its big and comfy =] i prefer big bike.

the reason im changing is cause i wan a ride thats has not so much power and not bad fc . ........

did my research liao. but looking for the non fairing version .

btw, if u have been reading all posted....sure u did research?

u find tat rw is not a comfortable bike, unless u r like me (old man) can't affort a massage chair.

many newbie riders complaint it vibes a lot, hard seat, butt pain, hand numb,....etc, etc.

although fc r better than cl2b 2-strokers but highest amongst cl2b 4-strokers.

not so much power? for me i think the rw is underpowered :sian:

FC's awesome thou, im 18 so petrol cost lower=better. studying :cheeky:

rw top speed 110. kinda means its hard to cruise at 100+. i normally cruise at 90-95kmph. but when i need to overtake, there's no power to. your planet is a big and comfy bike too no ?

any how, how "fast" can a 2b bike get?

power is nothing without control, its better to control the power. if not why people rather ride 1litre bikes than

cheers, riding safe more important!

tat's why tweak the carb n sprocket ratio to improve rw's 'ying n yang'.

stock rw generate 10 hp, after tweaking gain 2hp more (needless2say FC will increase).

cruising at 110kph as easy as at 80kph, takes a long time to reach 120kph.

cups r light so their avg about 40km/l. if they twist throttle fast will drop to 35km/l.

2-strokers 150cc, avg fc about 20km/l. if they run fast, fc drop to 18km/l.

liter bike, fc avg 14km/l. if speeding, fc drop to 10~12km/l.

my fc avg about 27km/l n i always run at 110kph on expressway.

those want to save fuel should not travel more than 60kph.

above 60kph, most bike engine revolutions r too fast for complete burn.

Posted

haha... my scooter also about 27km/l which i think is bad. oh well, FC don't matter too much since 27km/l is like godly fc when compared to my car.

Most importantly, the comfy-ness is definitely there!! god i love scooter now!!! haha...

welcome to rw thread.

maintenance: pls read n follow the owner's manual schedule, page 32 n 33.

basic maintenance:

1) every 1,000 km, inspect, adjust n lubricate ur chain with chain lub (PJ blue).

2) every 4,000 km, change eo (engine oil) n oil filter or every six months if u dun ride often.

3) every 8,000 km, change normal spark plug (every 20,000km if use titanium spark plug. every 50,000 km if use iridium spark plug).

others as stated in owner's manual.

do note tat air-filter n fuel-filter, u dun have to change every 4,000 km or 6 mths.

use ur own discretion, change air-filter every 20,000 km.

i haven't change fuel filter since new, as long as u inspect it is not dirty.

if u dun have it, right clik, save link as:

yay! new rw rider!

Uncle! i want to ask how do u prevent your bike from getting stolen in jb?

I'm going muar tomorrow, Roadtrip!.

But I'm afraid that my bike get stolen. Do i get an extra lock or something just in case? like those bicycle lock and chain up the wheels with the frame? i think i should just bring in case right?

Posted (edited)

i dun think malayias like rw, it's hard to prevent theft if some1 wants to steal from u.

they normally stole s4 rear suspensions or those big liter bikes tat r worthy of their efforts.

even there r security guards or cam, those thieves r not afraid they r caught in the video.

u can buy those alarm disc locks for front n rear brake discs.

otherwise big pad locks can do also, just remember to unlock n remove them b4 riding off.

for those whom find rw seat uncomfortable, i recommend a simple mod.

u need a 2mm thick rubber gasket n double sided tape.

cut 2 piece of rubber gaskets about the length n breath of the seat under mount damper.

apply double sided tape n stick it to the sub frame where the mount damper seat on.

front two mount only, rear not require.

this is to lift up the front by 2mm, so tat u wun slight forward n placed ur butt at comfort region of the mid seat area.

one more thing forget to mention:

apply a little bit of grease on top of the rubber gasket.

this is to prevent it from peeling off it's position when ur seat r moving fore n aft due to ur motion.

update:

i find that after awhile the pads kept peeling-off, even with little grease on it.

so i decided change from frame to rubber mount, stick-on well.

needless2say clean up all the grease b4 stick it back.
