according to what u say, things that need to be done in order to hit 120kph are:

 

1> change front sprocket to 15t

 

2> adjust the carb

 

3> adjust air screw

 

i like to confirm with u again is there any other things that i need to do or change besides the following things on top.

 

1> how about the chain and the rear sprocket?need to be change also?

 

2> how about the fuel consumption? will it be diff ? normal is 1 litre = 33km

somewhere around tech-AUTO there lah bro....u go up to 5th level and the shop is located right at the end where they r servicing all big bikes there...

 

btw which place r u werking? maybe if i drop there again i can see u and have a bit of chit-chat ??? is that ok bro?

Any Rider know where got sell the RW?

 

Went to this shop at Jurong east. Quoted me 6.5k for the 125cc and 7.5k for the 150cc. 7% interest per annual. Do you guys think it's ok?

hmmm.... :giddy: it's really hard to decide.. :mad: For 2nd hand.. counldn't trust it much as you dunno wat the previous owner had done to it.. Plus the $$$$ lost when you had to go repair/service the bike all the time when something came up :giddy:

 

Would like to buy a 1st hand bike as it's new and that means.. the parts are new! :lovestruck:

 

:offtopic: If any screw came loose(like some other ppls' experience), then i can blame the shop for poor workmanship. As i know some of the shop assemble some of the bikes themselves instead of the bike coming in fully assembled, as it would be more expensive. :offtopic:

 

Further more, i don't think i would want to upgrade to bigger bike so fast even when i got my class 2a and class 2 licence. main reason is becoz i don't know whether i got the $$ to buy 1 =3

i suppose you mean that it vibrates alot when revving at high rpm? :confused:

 

i like the big size of RW. gives me the safe feeling.

 

gonna check out the hyosung comet when i'm free. :smile:

Erm this is my first bike since i passed so maybe i can give u some comments on it.

What i like about this bike is its size, outlooks, consumption and the ability to put box and still look quite chio. But the downside is that it is not fast and lesser power if u compare to other sportsbikes. But u can consider it as an upside as it limits newbies like me to chiong when we are still inexperienced on the roads.

But if u think that u want speeds like 120 or 130. go for sports bikes.

If u intend to upgrade soon, buy a 2nd hand.

I cant comment on comet as i never seen it before

Vtwin on such a small engine cc is a waste of money IMHO. Rather get an RS 250 or PGM for a vtwin bike.

The advantages i know is that the comet has more power than the roadwin 125 cc.

 

The disadvantages are it consumes more fuel and need more engine oil when u go for engine oil change.
