Yes, I do agree that this bike is a bit on the high side in terms of price. But, compared to a Vara which only offers abt 1 hp more in terms in engine output and retails at > $10...i think RW is still quite reasonable.

 

In terms of popularity, give it some time... when i first started riding, Daelim was unheard of....now u can sport a Daelim model almost anywhere. :smile:

 

Bajaj and Kymco is also slowly gaining recognition here in SG now

Update on main jet #95 with eclip set to 2. Air screw to default 2 1/8 turns

 

Pros:

Very fuel econimical PROVIDED that you are not throttle happy (as in trigger happy...as in everytime like to bleep throttle and zoom out fast.)

f/c is within 33 km/l

 

Smooth consistency

 

Cons:

Very slow pick up

Lack of power when going up hill on high gear (e.g. Sheares Bridge, First incline after turning into CTE from TPE. Must drop gear and rev up to at least >6k rpm. )

hey guys..i'm buying de x5 soon.But de total cost would be 8k for me..a little bit too high.So i m wondering..roadwiniac,slaygay and raden..u guys selling urs right?which of urs are black??and may i know de condition of de bike plus milage?

Does de roadwin and de x5 sound diff cause of their diff cc?? And does de extra 15cc gives to de x5?Pickup or speed?

ya...dats why i thinking of changing back to the original header. But your top end will have improvement.

hye bro....just to inform u that my bike is rw125 { blue in color }...The condition of the bike is I can tell u is oklah and the mileage is just 5600 only.

U can have a free view if u want too...bro!!!

hey raden, tried emailing u but server says there's an error with ur email. msg u didn't reply.

however, it's not that i wanna say anything, but putting at 5k will be seriously difficult for u to sell. even though it's new, it's still too high. the resale value for rw is too low. shops don't look at the bike inside, they jus see n quote a price.. some shops tell me that at most they can take for 1k. if u wan 2.5k to 3k(cash plus installments), i can give. but higher than that,sorry. think about it man..pls reply to my hp:97965510.

 

btw, someone pls look out for second hand rw/x5 for me alright.thanks a million.serious buyer here.

oppss.....sorri bro to keep u waiting....wat u tell me is true.Before i put my bike to GARAGE SALES, I did ever ask shop how much they can take....And they told me maybe 1k or less than that.Oklah bro, put it in this way...If i sell u around 4.5k how??? cos if i sell u 3k like wat u say, i totally rugi quite a lot...cos if u see my bike, it is very clean and well maintain bro...I not say that i am very proud but u can come and have a free view on the bike...

All i can say is its going to be difficult but good luck for your sales Raden.

 

Hey guys is there any way to complain about a driver or what. That day i was riding. den this idiot just on high beam all the way behind me. The thing was that i was not even hogging the lane. So damn irritating. Some more i cant do anything coz i scared later he knock me down. haha.

you can make a civil complaint to TP.....or what i usually do to this blokes is that i maintain my speed or slow down a little and adjust my side mirrors so that the bloke behind gets the reflection of his high beam.....haha....always manage to irritate the blokes :smile:
