ANyone wanna respray it.. THinking of spraying the orange colour....I was in love with the orange colour and brought. Anyone have any idea how much does it cost..

Where to do servicing as it is a uncommon bike, Do every shop carry the plugs we used in Sv?

Thinking of DIY izzit hard? Anyone living in the east.....And changing of pads izzit tought. Cos I did lots of DIY on Super 4 but this bike not famliar and hope someone guild mi along.....

I did most of general servicing at agent. But plugs I change myself cos most mechanics curse and swear while doing it. You can get the plugs from FJT at rowell road. Go for the NGK platinium or iridium.

I live in the east. You can DIY your pads, if you can find them. For me, it doesn't cost a big deal for the mechanic to do it. abt $60-70 for a pair at motoworld. Brand is daytona, but stopping power is just enough only.

We can find one nice day and meet up for some DYI, i'm free this thursday and friday.

I have fixed 55/60w to my SV. Yes, the forum did not report any problems, but they do ride in cooler environments, don't know if that made the difference.

I had pproblems till i upgraded my wires to thicker ones. Even fixed relays to them. Credit to Lim and Neo for their advice(s)...

How much u did them...

I guess got to take out and see the bulbs....If the previous owner have 55/60W in them I guess is not an issue.....

I am getting the pads tonight hope I can figure out how to DIY...

the plugs can be as cheap as 3.50 , depends on which one u getting.

for the rear cylinder, changing the plug has no obstruction.

but for the front, u have to loosen the radiator in order to take out the plug.

i suggest u go to the workshop and let them do, anyway u are paying a few cents more for their labour. and from them, u can learn how to diy also.

same for the brakepads... by the way, heard the goldfren is cheap n good.

The platinium plugs are abt $10 each at FJT. Mdl is CR8/9EVX.

Its quite simple really, I have a method for the front plug.

But gotto be careful not to damage the radiator while doing so.

$16 for 2 NGK iridium + install? You gotto be joking.

Method? Very simple. But you understand I'm just referring to the front cylinder ok?

1. Remove the bolt that fasten the bottom right of the radiator to the frame.

2. Remove the 2 big screws that fasten the left and right fairing to the frame.

3. Loosen the top 2 nuts that fasten the top part of the radiator to the frame

4. Pop the 2 fairing out so that the radiator can be hinge outwards. Optionally, you will find it easier to remove the left and right fairing to make the job easier but this is not necessary

5. Turn handle bar full right.

6. Tie a rope, cable tie etc as long as its long and strong enough from the bottom right of the radiator (the hole which the bolt goes thru) to the right fork.

7. Slowly, gradually, turn the handle bar to the left, shifting the radiator out as needs to. Lock the handle bar.

8. Now, with the radiator out of the way and in place, you'll find it easier to change the front plug.
