Has the Singaporeharley site finaly died? I just tried to get on (admitedly after a fairly long time) and only come up with a page with links to many other sites. Anybody know the story as it used to be a good site foy buying and selling used Harleys and parts.

you are not wrong, it is good to compare the prices at ebay, they are generally cheaper. buy from these stores only if they dont offer it on ebay

Haha. Slow moving only cannot push lah, bike is too heavy and it would not look good to be pushing the bike up the road every morning. Just slowly in 2nd gear nice deep rumble up the road not disturbin anyone and then up and away. My neihbours are quite old and retired so I try not to disturb them too much. They are really cool guys though and they like my ride. Often when I am washing my bike out front they will come out for a yarn, talk about my bike and then tell me about Singapore during the early times and what they got up too when they were younger.

And you got your point, during bike wash..... ppl from different blocks & units will swim towards you..... Blah blah blah...... some or most are with regrets saying what they should have done back in their young times ie ride a bike lah...also dreamt of Harley lah....but scared lah....Correct?

 

You will get sick at times hearing these ...... Look man.... life's short, play hard! And life's shouldn't be full of regrets.....

Ok la. Not loud no fun already. That's the whole point. heee. My TDM also loud.

 

Oh Knightrider, something I learnt, might be useful for u. When you change or top up EO and you put more than necessary, it might leak into your pipes and air filter. Maybe that's why your filter was oily.

 

Oh ya...'ve read it somewhere about tis n i've checked the oil level.. swee swee.. anyway, i've got it rectified "will monitor it for a while" and also tuned - now no more fart sound... hahaha...

you can take up the financial package from our local HD dealer, aint sure what the interest like though and if i am not wrong, their in-house hire purchase arrangement is from Maybank.

Their interest rate is 3.87% for 3 yrs loan, and 4% for 5 years loan... if i remember correctly..

$1000 deposit to order your bike, the rest of the cost (eg insurance, coe, downpayment) will be settled upon collection.
