Finally. I waited 8 months for this video! I know a lot of editing has been put into it 'cos I'm sure that it was a lot longer.

I can see myself in a few of the frames

in my last inspection a month ago. the guys were not pleased with excessive sound from me pipes. they went on to bring a mirror and looked around for inscriptions. Having seen the 'harley' text on it they concurred not to query me.

If i can be subject to scrutiny then think of your SE.

if u think it's loud then chances are it will be checked upon.

whether they wanna make an issue out of it is another matter.

personal discretion advice.

Hi ... just checking. I'm goining for inspection soon.. I'm thinking of whther or not to change back my stock pipe . Did any1 of u gone thru the inspection with SE pipe?

I recommend you just change back to stock for inspection.

anyway only 20 - 30mins to remove and install.

No point failing inspection becos of exhaust.

Hhhmmm, which model you riding, dude?

I dont recall the need for any special tool....

Anyway the special bolt is probably the "hexstar" bolt.

Sorry, i'm no mechanic so i just name it hexstar myself, haha.

Can easily buy the tool from any hardware store.

Hope your inspection goes smooth.

It's called Torx. It's a different kind of toolset which some continental bikes use. I recall my Triumph had a few Torx nuts.

Yes Triumph uses it.

Thats why i bot a set of those tools.

To remove the body parts of my thunderbird for a paintjob....

However, I replaced most of it with Alankey nuts after that. haha

There's one Special nut securing the lower pipe.. The nut's outer thread defer from the norm..The outer thread is slanding. Normal spanner dont think can get a good grip on the nut.. erm dun noe how to explain.. haha..

I am not sure how much the factory ones costs but the CLYMER and HAYNES manuals are much better and more detailed when it comes to DIY servicing.
