Hi All,

New to here and to all Harley's bro here.....Soon to get hold a 1995 Sportster 883, require some restorations and fine work.

Do hope bro here can help.

By the way, the bike is with forward control, which any bro might be interested to exchange, as i not used to it, would very well prefer mid-control...yeah

Hi, Fellow Riders,

I have a set of Harley Davidson Brembo Black Dual Brake Calipers for sale. They are the same ones that are found on the 2008-up Tourers and Vrods. These are 4pot calipers each and are much much better than the 2pot calipers that the earlier Harleys had. Comes with slightly used Screamin' Eagle brake pads. I had planned to convert my previous Softail to dual brake disc setup but didnt get to do it in the end. These calipers will be ideal for pre-2008 tourers and v-rods. Also ideal for all Harleys looking to upgrade to dual disc brakes or enhance their brakes. Bought it for $850, looking to sell it at $550, negotiable if its for sincere buyers.Genuinely Interested parties only, please call directly at 96406196 to deal.

Thanks.

Could be anything: air bubble in line, brake lever nut loosened or not adjusted, fluid not topped up, old fluid, pads not sitting properly, caliper not tightened... Check the whole setup

Anyone on metzler me880 160/80 b16 with rear stock rim? Stock size is 150/80 but read that metzler is slightly narrower therefore 160/80 will still fit without rubbing. Izzit true? Tks

I'd just like to tell you guys out there to be extra vigilant when sending and collecting your bikes at the HD dealership. Especially if your bike is getting some mechanical/electrical work done on it.

It has been a gawd awful 7 months ding donging my bike with the dealership. Apparently the mechs there don't have sense to check that everything is in order when returning the bike to their owner. Very very very unprofessional and inept I must say. Can you imagine a dealership of HD forgetting to put back a bolt on the crackcase? Not torquing sparkplugs and not plugging in the plugs to the alternator? Oh and my bike was with them since last sept and I only got it out in Feb. Afterwhich there were weekly tows back.

The whole episode was so depressing that I so nearly wanted to quit riding.

So please bring along a torchlight and make sure all bolts, connections and hoses are in order before riding off.

And for me...never again.

Cheers!!
