Uneven wear should not have such an issue. Most likely the suspension.

If it is wobbly, it could also be the wheel bearings. My previous ride had the same symptoms and the tech just tighten the bearings. But RKs and Harleys don't have main stand, so you cannot check it yourself.

Take her to the doc!

hmm.. i'm not riding a harley dats for sure, ha.. but for a wobbly rear during cornering i've experienced it b4.. for a certain duration in fact..

wad happened was a small nail got in my rear, dunno how, n i din even realise it till ages later.. it didnt burst my rear coz its tubeless, but i juz find myself going to e air pump pretty often.. cornering smooths out each time after i pump back my rear, but wobbles again after some time.. suggest u take a close look all round rear tire.. juz to add on, my rear tire marks were v uneven too, prob due to e nail n thus lousy tire pressure..

hey cool~ thks..

think my deductions was rite abt the suspension..

need to do sth abt it lor..

bro, actually i think it's normal... all the Tourers have this effect when cornering at high speeds. u'll feel the bike kicking u back as in wanting to put itself back upright. u can get the stabiliser that bolts ur tranny to the frame... cost is above $1K la so i don't think i'd even think of getting it.

this because the engine's rear is not connected rigidly to the frame (rubber mounted) for the front... thats why the movement

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

hmmm.. i understand tat harley touring family cant handle corners for nuts..

but the thing is i can feel a differences as of now n when i juz got my bike..

oh... hmmm cheapest try tire pressure 1st then maybe stiffen the suspension as it's an air suspension... if still dosen't work well then if u need to change, get the progressive 440 ones (im using it) gives u a really firmer ride! lol...

Some discussion on Sportster's forum

Progressive's web site

I think you need to order it from the web and get it shipped in, no bike shop that I know of carries them.

I intend to upgrade my suspensions to Progressives later, maybe after a year, and when my wallet is full again.
