Check your manual for tyre sizes. Then go to HKL website to check tyre prices.

thanks dude.... i was quoted $500+ for bridgestones.... at minerva for M400....but check HKL ... only about $350...

but not sure if outside shop ...or any outside reputable shop .... can do it properly or not?

Clearing each stage at SSDC and BBDC for bike license was fun !!!

HKL and Unique have changed more tires in their lifetime than Minerva. Choice of course is entirely up to you. I do mine at Unique, they give a bottle of water while you wait in aircon area.

When it comes to bikes, I only see red…

I go to HKL because their tyre turnover is higher. While they change you can go to the coffee shop nearby to eat ang ku kueh and read newspaper :) Tyre no need to go all the way to Minerva. Anyway for my M696 they charged me Class 2A tyre prices instead of the more expensive Class 2 tyre prices. They will also give u instant HKL membership card to ask you to use all their services at a discount (funny they didn't give me the card when I was riding CB400 :D )

Hey guys, need some help for the following parts purchase, any recommended brands or websites are greatly appreciated. (going to get some parts ready for 20K service, still another 3500km more)

- Slave cylinder (Saw alot of ducs with SYM? Good?) Any recommended sites to purchase?

- Air filter (any recommended brands)

- Ducati clutch plates vs other recommended brands?

- Do you guys change the springs n the pressure plates when changing clutch plates?

- Any recommended brake pads?

Thanks in advance for the contribution guys!

There are a couple of duc riders with SYM scooters, yes. The brand for the slave cylinder is STM haha :). You should do some research about slave cylinders before purchasing as different cylinders have different diameter and ducati dry clutches are quite sensitive to changes. I found good info in the link below. I'm using STM on my ST4 and am quite happy with it.

http://www.ducati.ms/forums/80-hall-wisdom/27805-16x16-vs-16x18-radial-clutch-master-cylinders.html

Air filters, KNN or BMC should be fine, both locally available. But if you have termis on your bike I believe the termis kit comes with an air filter already.

Some of us use barnett clutch plates but they're aluminium so should be used with an aluminium clutch basket to prevent premature wear. Clutch springs don't need to be changed unless they're really rusty. Pressure plate can be reused indefinitely if I'm not wrong.

OEM brake pads are fine unless you track your bike often, then you might want pads with a stronger bite but these pads will not last as long and will put more wear on the brake discs.

Err, there's only one HKL workshop. Bukit Merah Lane 3 I think. Opposite Juzz Wheelz.

Anyway, go to the workshop convenient for you lah. I go to HKL because it's near my place.

They probably change more tires in a week than Minerva has in their lifetime!
