Here is a video introduction of that bike, seems this yamaha GTS represents the highest human technology in his years. Can you imagin the bike is available for consumers in 1993 or earlier, and it has a diamond chassi, single fork, fuel injection and ABS.... Really amazing...

Not a local bike but i've been following his story on the other monster forums. He posts there from time to time. i think he is an italian or something. anyway i found a pic from the front, get a load of these headlights. I think there is a way to mimic is somewhat, i found some hella fog lamps (saw them mounted on a BMW and went searching for it online) which look very similar to the headlights you see here. but the mounting bracket, wiring, small fairing will take custom work to do. Still, not impossible to do. Maybe i'll do this in a few months when i've got the time

IMO this is the only headlight assembly i have ever seen on a monster which looks better than the stock round headlights

here is the link to the pic of the same bike...

lol...i remember when i sat on this bike when it was being displayed in one of the bike shop @ bukit merah back in 91-92.the sales person was so nervous looking at me he later put up a sign `no sitting please'.

yes quite radical for a production bike back then, most manufacturers kept this tech as `concept' the brave yamaha push this costly production on the street.

the front fork tech was taken from aircraft design..famous copy is `vespa'...bmw...and now bimota.

There's more fun in making slow bike go fast than making a fast bike faster:angel: FOR SALE KAWASAKI ZEPHYR EBC BRAKE PADS FA129HH.DUC CLUTCH SLAVE PUMP,SIGNAL RELAY.
