Is anyone interested to go Go-Karting on the 14th of September (Sunday) ? We'll be riding into JB, have bfast, then off to Go-Kart, have Lunch, and then head back to sg.

Told you not to change to aftermarket exhausts..... never listen.....:gun: see lah...now not happy already. Keep to Ducati Factory Stock exhausts. That's what we all have......:thumb:

 

You guys are not having stock exhaust.... mine is then the original stock already.... no kick :weep:

I wana wana change my exhaust ASAP!!! everytime go riding with all of you, i get so envious and jealous :( *hehe* last nite randy still disturb me so much about my exhaust..... so bad randy!! :p

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

The pictures show the bike is equipped with a single sided swingarm and the 1100DS engine from the Ducati Hypermotard. The styling is almost identical to the Monster 696, including the Desmosedici-derived frame design.

I'll be going in for the ride and lunch but not for the Go-kart. We can go for our own ride. Probably meet at 7 or 8 am. Confirm your attendance and all going can meet up for details.

This week's meetup will be held @ Rail Mall. Where is that you ask? It's at 452 Upper Bukit Timah Road. We'll be meeting up at 9pm.

good morning guys.

 

Not sure how to say this so i'll say it straight. My bike will be up for sale very soon. Given what has been done by me to 'restore' it and as a courtesy to the previous owner (and to make myself feel better) i'd prefer to keep this bike 'in the family' so to speak, in the hands of a true enthusiast like the bros from this forum. Selling price will be BELOW 10K, i dont believe in making a 'profit' from selling machines no matter how much i spent doing the bike up. Is the meetup today? If so, i'll try to come down. If anyone is interested in stepping up to a class 2 monster or to own a very special second bike at a crazy price, we can talk more during the meetup if i can make it. Sale of the bike is tentative at the moment but looks very likely to happen. I've owned the bike roughly 9 months and clocked about 10,000km since i bought it. Selling the bike, even at 10K, already puts me at a loss of about 6K for less than a year's use

 

I'm willing to sell the bike at a price significantly lower to a monster club fella than some guy outside who may not take care of this bike.

 

Will keep you guys updated. In the meantime if you want to know more about the bike anyone here can call me 96510495 or PM me. I'll put up an actual advertisement for the sale of the bike when i confirm i will be selling it

yeah, i know exactly how u feel. i look out the window every morning when i wake up to see if i can ride to work that morning (otherwise, take bus) and every evening at work, i will pray it is not raining outside.

 

Hey bro, I am one of the pple who ride to work. I carry a 30L Deuter backpack everyday. It contains my notebook, power supply, rain pants, backpack rain cover, shoe cover, bike cover, etc. On top of that, I wear a mesh jacket (used to wear a Dainese "fully-waterproof" jacket with no air vents!) with removable waterproof liner, full face helmet, full-length leather gloves, hair wax, body-spray, with long-sleeveed shirt tucked in, leather belt, pants and working shoes. Call me crazy but this is what I go through everyday and I'm sort of used to it already. Imagine the amount of waterproof stuff I got to put on and remove if it rains. All these for the sake of safety and looking cool (not wanting to have any panniers, tank bag or box on the bike. i'm sure you know how an ugly box can ruin our bikes' beauty haha!).

 

But you can imagine how much I curse and swear whenever I see water in the sky.

Oh you mean you don't ride if it is raning in the morning? I got no choice. I still ride rain or shine. Actually it could be quite fun riding in the rain (moderate to heavy kind, not those tiny tiny drops of irritating shxt kind. All the dirt sticks to your bike), but definately not when going to work or meeting someone!
