Anyway, anyone uses a bike cover? I stay in a private apartment but then I don't get to keep the bike under shelter all the time. Wanna get a nice thick one. Any recommendations?

Got one from LAB too. But it's too thin, and the rainwater tends to seep in after even a light rain. Unless there are different kinds. How much should I be looking for?

Can try motorworld at lavender. They have one which is weather resistance.

Can try Raymond @ Eunos industrial park (Bike Harbor) or Michael @ Kalang Cycle.. Both cheaper than Agent of coz.. Meet up are usually @ Jalan Sultan on Sat 9.30pm onwards. The Indian stall opp the old Textile Center... :thumb:

Yep okay sure. Wanted to say hi to the owner but I was in a rush so I just went past. Nice lambo orange really!

thanks for the comments.. The bike's been laid up for the time being. Can't wait to ride it! Do share your Monster experiences with me if you like to. I am totally new to Ducati, and my first 'real' bike considering both my previous and current rides were Vespa, albeit modern ones.

I am a recurring Ducati owner. 1st was a M400. Now a S4RS Testicles-rattle.

When u do get on it when you get your Class 2.... the roar of the Termis, the shaking of your balls, the taxi drivers at every junction asking me if my bike "pai" is it? Plus other bikers staring at you.... gosh.... and the rush of the torque....damn...orgasmic.

If you want to lay the bike up for 3-4 months, better to ensure the proper works (I'm not really sure what) are done so that the bike will still be in proper condition, etc when you want to ride it. Or you can just start the bike every few days, but I don't think that's a viable option cause it's at the workshop right.

Vespa's are real bikes too! Hahaha but only cause I have a very beat up condition PX150 that I still ride around. Love the posture of the PX. And it's so durable.

hi guys, I have trying to find the m400 but Ducati has stopped producing them? anyway, what's the fuel consumption on a 400 and a 600? From what i gather, 3 bottles of engine oil is required right? how many spark plugs are there?Any advice on whether to get the 400 or 600?

Yep it's okay, I went to buy a bike cover already. The Rjays one, very thick and nice! Just that it's a bit too big already, the cover all over the floor also, but I'm not complaining.

Ya the bike was looking good! Can't wait to see it again.

Anyway, just came back from Minerva. Launch of the Multistrada today! Big, powerful, and fierce!

Haha, ya it's at the work shop but i don't know what would be necessary to put it in "proper condition", so gotta try my luck and ask the mechanic at the shop to start it now and then..

Anyway, I was at the lights next to a stunning white RC8 (with a brunette male just in case some of you might know him..) and watched with envy as he sped away very very f*ing quickly from the lights while I trailed on my Vespa GTS300. Is there any chance the Monster 696 could keep up at least till 100kmh? Just a question to the riders out there on this bike long enough to have maybe raced from the lights with similar sport bikes.. haha

No freaking way unless the RC8 chill. Monster 1100 may stand a chance.
