yep, just picked up the TDM..should be good for those long runs but now i really appreciate the Ducati's power and handling. hmmm, maybe have to reconsider selling

Hmm haven't tried a TDM before...is it really down on power? Handling should be poorer since it's not really built for handling.

i guess it's good utility bike..comfortable seat, engine's got enough power but not excessive. it might take a while to get used to the handling- still need to get new tires and check the suspension tuning before writing any reviews. many guys write about how they like the bike more and more as they ride it.

actually the best dual sport ride imo is the Cagiva Gran Canyon..nice balance, ducati engine, very nimble.

TDM got new shoes today..much better! also checked the suspension & triple clamp alignment, everything good. previous owner riding mostly in straight lines i guess, worn the tires flat so the roll in to corners was really sluggish. :thumb:

Ahh too late. I've already ordered a Givi rack. A bike is a bike. I will adapt it so that it will suit my needs :)

ok, good choice with Givi box. you looking for side cases also? i'm selling set of Chase Harper soft saddle bags, nice fit on the monster- over the saddle.

hi folks!

doing a slow restore on a 98 Monster 400 > BB to 540.

Where can I get Keihin FCR in Singapore and what size should i be using?

TIA

(yes I know a Keihin FCR will not cure my cold start issues. best bet to solve that is a set of dynacoils)

Hey michael, glad to see you're making the bike yours. What've you done to it so far?

Moto-v is a riding group, they will meet up at ECP Carl's junior tonight. Some of us will be there, just go down and look out for the ducatis...pm h@nn for details.
