I always go for power and looks. That's why I bought the R1. However, itching to get the GSX R1000 also... :sweat:

In this year's Superbike Smackdown between 4 supersports bikes, the results are as follows :

 

4th - Yamaha YZF R1

3rd - Honda CBR1000

2nd - Kawasaki ZX10R

1st - Suzuki GSX R1000

 

So for me, in the litre sportsbike category, the GSX R1000 should be the best choice and best buy for 2006... :cheer:

Over here, the largest capacity bike you can ride on your Ls/Ps is 250cc (for sports bikes), and 2 years later when you get your fulls you're allowed to ride whatever bike you want.

But its still best use the current tier licence in Singapore, I guess, if not everywhere you can see big bikes liao, hehe :cheeky:

The more big bikes there are, the merrier mah. However, don't know whether the insurance will go up due to more big bikes accidents or go down due to many riders buying big bikes... :confused:
