Your R1 is crying loh

But seriously have you ever think of getting a GSX-R750 beside your R1? :thumb:

If I strike lottery, then I will get the GSX R750 besides my R1. At the moment, can afford only one bike leh...

but try to go 4 the newer bike at less after u wan to sell out the bike still got market value.....

:

i don really agree with u. new model is always mouth watering but consider this is - 600 is not the most popular bike compare to 1000cc. if u r a guy who after big BHP, why waste the $ on new 600 but admiring ppl on 1000? But if u like screeming rev, easier flickability and trackday at PG, then get a 2nd hand 600 unless u r loaded... :thumb:

Just my point of view, its all up to personnal preference.

Never underestimate the 600cc bikes. I've ridden with Gixxer 600cc where those bikes can catch up and even overtake my R1. :help: But then again, those Gixxer riders are the speed demons kind. Damn siao, ride like there's no tomorrow like that... :cheeky:

Its easier to ride a 600 like theres no tomorrow than a 1000cc bike. :thumb:

To my opinion, I find 1000cc bikes are not so suitable in Singapore, for the dense traffic, high insurance, high traffic police spot chack... and we also don't have long highway as compare to Western Country or Japan. Its hardly got chance to release the beast's potential until you hit the circuit.

But definately an eye catcher for the others for 1000cc bikes are powerful machine. :thumb:

Just check with Looi's Motor yesterday that for my insurance for kawasaki 636 is about S$1K+ 1st party, well a bit expensive so will check out other shops too.

But Looi's Motor is still my first choice, It's also near to my home

Visited the Ninja Thread, very infomative too. And one told me to look for Ah Tan & Sin Boon Motors too, yet to find out the location...

Most importantly dun rush ur purchase and always buy something you like n not to impress others wif it. Riding a crotch rocket is a responsibility. Never put ur life or others at stake. Meanwhile happy hunting Ah Fai! :thumb:

Thanks for your advice, kawi71 :thumb:

I sat on the kawasaki 636 recently & found that the riding position a bit extreme to me... perhaps I am riding my cbr150 for 2 years..

Still open option to other bikes, but I am more keen into 636 cause its has got good reputation from the magazine & from you guys. :thumb:

Walau, just had a talk with my dad about bike reference. He said Honda is much better than Kawasaki in terms of workmanship & low maintenance.

He said VFR800 or FJR are good, cannot blame him since he love his Goldwing so much :sian:

Scali I really buy 636 he sure faint siah
