I will be going to malacca this week, are there any places in malacca or on the way where i can play go-karts?

And what fun things to do in malacca, any must-sees, must-eats, or must-plays? Will be going with friends soon, thanks for your contributions

Must Eat :

1) Gula Melaka Chendol and Laksa (same shop, along Jonker street, 88 Jalan Hang Jebat)

2) Chicken Rice Ball at Chung Hwa Restaurant (Original one, opposite OCBC bank)

3) Bei Zhan restaurant (A little on the expensive side though)

Good dishes include curry prawn in claypot, and macadamia nuts with fried mushroom.

4) Peranakan Restaurant (hanyupinyin : Qiao Shen Can Ting) (Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, cheap and good)

5) Satay Celup (Original one)

6) Da Gu (Elder Auntie in mandarin) Wanton noodle, 40 Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock

Suggest to AVOID :

A restaurant that was showcased on Singapore TV, and used to be very popular among Teo Chews : Teo Soon Loong Chan. Patronise at own risk.

Must See :

Not much, unless you are into museums and tombs of some famous people.

Eg. St Paul's church

Let go.... let God....

Thanks for your tips... but do you happen to have a map or smth? Are those places easy to find?

I only have Garmin GPS maps.

BEsides Bei Zhan, the rest of the recommendations are in the vicinity of Jonker street/walk. Satay Celup not within, but near Jonker street/walk.

Let go.... let God....

:thumb: Bro, If you riding up this sat. I would suggest that you meet the large group of bikers going up to melaka this sat for the melaka Charity ride. They are meeting at Gelang Patah this at at around 7.30am Follow them and then get the experience. Maybe some of them even coming back on the same day at nite. For nite riding be careful and stay alert. Cheers.:p

How about joining Spectrum's trip together with the Storm Riders to Port Dickson for the bike festival this Sat and Sunday?...:) You can then have some experience travelling up north.

Or how about the trip to Endau Nature Park on National Day organised by druid82002? They are going at a steady pace of 90 to 100 kph. Besides he needs 8 riders min inorder to ahead for the trip. I might join him if not too tired after the Bike Festival trip...

For more details, contact druid or post your query in his thread (Trip thrills sticky: Short trip on National Day). I believe it won't be that far cos the nature park is in the north of Johore state.

Yup, done that not too long ago. Melaka is relatively near and not easy to get lost also. A good place to try for beginners.
