abt the hallmark hotel, its famous for the ""spa"" services. we locals dont recommend it cos got possibility to be misunderstood n spoil our reputation. the restaurant opposite is named Ji xiang, i oredi boycott dat restaurant cos always overcharge...been supporting it since they started business, but the pricing simply whack ppl after their business grow better.

 

when u guys come mlk, dont need to worry abt sightseeing or food la. sure will arrange nice places for sightseeing, n damn cheap n superb food. guarantee u cant even finish the food also. there is this place where i ordered 10 dishes (7 meat, 1 veggie, 1 egg) for 10 ppl dinner. in the end the bill came was only RM99.80 my eyes almost drop out in disbelief n we cant even finish the food on the table.

 

good la if u got come back, try get a few more bikers to join u mah. best is inform me abt 2-3 days in advance so i can make plans with jimmy & co. abt our programs. :bouncefire:

i plan to ride down on Friday morning to Melaka. Stay 1 night and back on Saturday. anybody with the same thinking wanna join? looking for buddy to ride together. no issue with riding alone but if got company why not right?

Will leave very early in the morning ard 6 am as it is a one day trip. Coming back same day evening.

walao no need so early rite? u oni take 1 hour to reach malacca from 2nd link....reach here at 7+ am also nothing to do leh. life at 7am in malacca havent begin yet...oni abt 11 u can feel the city waking up..

 

my suggestion is u move off abt 10.30am, reach abt 12...then can straight go lunch n do some sightseeing lor...just my suggestion, pls dun me....

the new water park is not in malacca, its built in ipoh. quite far away abt 400km +/- from malacca.

the only water park in malacca is A'Famosa water park.

As chee_teck said, its abt 10 yrs old oredi. i went the only once abt 7-8 yrs back. heard it had got some changes when my fren visited 2 weeks ago, but he exclaimed to me A'famosa waterpark should sound more like

"A'famosa wat-ter-fark". so i think not worth going lor.

if travel on odd hours, less than 1 hour can reach. my fren whack from jb-mlk non stop took him 58 mins. i tried mine a bit slower la, abt 1hr 10mins, include stop at pagoh for petrol.

during peak hour travel will take abt 1hr20mins, depending on the volume of traffic....

yups the famous wanton mee at bunga raya there not bad. opens in the evenings n finish abt 10.30pm

the famous chicken rice ball is the 1 opposite OCBC bank. the last shop (corner) in jonker street. dat wan early morning open until abt 2pm. other shops dat sell chicken rice balls not so good lah....but this shop even it is the best, quality also went down compared to few years back...

Saw from the google website A Famosa Resort say Water Park very nice leh. Not that one meh? got lazy river, slides etc....

u guys must try the ABC at bunga raya....then at the same place got the famous fried oyster by the small lane in between the row of shops...

theres 1 cendol stall by the road side...quite nice...its around Bukit China.....or u can go umbai to eat Ikan Bakar...
