seriously speaking the best i calculated i had is 21km/litre..

 

probably is because at that time i travel alot on the expressway...

 

and also probably i use clutching in instead of engine brakings when slowing down.. so save abit more fuel... but well thats my riding style lah.. not doing that purposely to save petrol.

have any1 found his babe is getting more & more noisy & fell like pickup truck while stationary?

 

my babe have been diagnose by Micheal Chong & says the tentioner has gone case & cost about 100bucks to change :giddy:

mine seems to hv lotsa extra noise now... n itz not the tensioner....

 

pick-up feels real heavy..... sighh....

 

lotsa vibrations when running too.... seems like somewhere in the bike.. sumthing aint running smoothly....

Ash changed his tensioner mah.. And he says he can recognise the noise... You can ask him if we have a meet up..

 

I feel mine got noise too but runs smoothly after TB sync, engine oil and plugs change. My mech says mine is considered very quite liao..

 

@ash - When is the last time you did ur TB sync?

HI Ant,

 

Long time no hear from you. The Yew Meng Kulai makan shop is situated almost the same location. Once you exit from the Kullai toll, proceed as per the same usual route, turn in right after the Bp Station.

 

Ashen and cheekozer, correct me if I'm wrong.

juz change oil liao still like dat.. hvn change plugs though....

 

feel my tyres shakey also.... like front n back not in synch...

I'm toking about your throttle bodies synchro. They can be a source of vibration if not sync. When is the last time you did that?

 

Btw, saw a silver FJR with Remus that day at Regina. Nv got chance to ask him how much he got it. Maybe we can do a mass order, like 3 pieces..... :sweat:
