reason for sell:changing to H&B

Looks like there is alot of theft happening ard. Juz realise that my headlight protector is stolen also.. so sad to hear abt ppl missing things and even worst if u r experiencing it urself.. Wonder if they steal to use for themself or to sell it off?

Went to M-Technik this evening. Met Mr K P Chan.

He quoted me the following.

A set of H&B Journey with bracket will cost $1180

A set of H&B Junior with bracket will cost $980

A set of H&B Junior Flash with bracket will cost $1020

 

Journey looks better and compartment design is better. However, the material not as thick as Junior. Single lockset.

Junior oso look good and material is thicker. However, the boxy compartment design not easy to fit full face helmet. It comes with two lockset per box.

 

I've placed ordered for a set of pannier bracket. Arriving in 2 weeks time. Can decide on Journey or Junior later as the bracket can fit either.

 

Anyway, Mr Chan will order additional sets of pannier bracket. If we buy together, he is prepared to give each of us a flat $50 discount. Din really want to bargain, not untill I decide on Journey or Junior and u decide whether to buy.

 

BTW, looks is subjective. So do drop by their shop to take a look after ur exams.

Yes junior 40l. But i dun know what's the capacity of our stock boxes.

 

Junior Flash is the original Junior plus a narrow stripe of aluminum across at the bottom. I think the aluminun can be removed and color coated to match the bike. Thats all.

 

Not on the web site. Why dun u go down and flip thru their cateloge after ur papers but. Anyway, the brackets are not here yet. Still got time for u to consider.

guys just went to loois to do my sycronising.. now feel the bike very light(trottle)... by the way it not meng tong do.. he ask ah peaw do... lucky ok.... ask him to lol at my bike like he dont want ... did it for 20 only... is sycronising is the same as doin trottle bodies??? any issit it is also call tuning and balancing????

 

 

my bike reached 50 k any advise??? i ask meng tong to see if the tensioner need changing he blow abit den he say no need one.... can hear meh??

 

and wat is he hearing??

Suntec security found my boxes left at some remote staircase well. Went down to identify it. Lockset are broken. Contents are gone. Signs of using some object to force open. Got the boxes back. Need to order lockset. Shipment takes about 1 month.

Hv yet to decide. May still go ahead with the H&B and keep the FJR boxes at home. Like i said before, I'm really disappointed with the FJR boxes.

If your tensioners are worn off, there will be rattling noise.

Some mechanics use a screw driver to as a form of doctor stethoscope to check engine sound.

But there are some experience mechanic that got xray ears, blow abit they will know.
