Going where? more specific?

Going Perlin for breakfast???

dammie: i've friends who had changed to bar-risers for their FJRs, but had very bad experience, saying that the handling is very different, and cornering is pretty different/dangerous.... better not. what's wrong with the FJR bar-height anyway??

IMHO, the current riding/seating position on the FJR is excellent already... :cheeky:

BackOFF: the differences btw the '04 & '06 are not that great, BUT the '06 has a very beautiful Sppedo displays and some other good ideas. if u want to find out more, join us for the gatherings....!!

welcome to house of FJR..as we have quite a number of experinces FJR rider here...bla bla bla.. :cheeky:

there is quite a numbers of diff compare 04' & 06' model.

06' model have imprement/improve:

1) better air ventilation (so u wont get half boiled egg when riding in city)

2) rider seat height can be adjust (initially is 2 height, but thanks to bro Nakano, now the seat can be adjust 3 height :cheer: )

3) Yamaha have add a power outlet in glove box & make the glove box bigger (04' got glove box but no power outlet, & the stupid power outlet will cost about 150bucks if original :giddy: )

4) chior-er dashboard meter (but happy_cookies is complaining about the speedo is too blank  )

5) gear indicator (04' have a option to install a 3rd party from vector one, but have to drill hole & strip ur babe naked for installation)

6) MPG meter (miles per galon reading for ur average fuel consumption, our version should be KPG)

7) Envoirment temp reading (is nice to have 1 but i think if will make ride slower & slower on NSW when afternoon, coz i will know is f***ing hot & im going to die..)

8) 3 point adjustable handle bar (not up/down but front & back, better for short hand ppl like nakano :cheeky: )

9) easy installation of slider (04' model have to drill hole on fairing or add bracket)

10) sharper outlook compare with previous model.

think that's least but not all..u have to find out more on ur own about this babe

Hi Dammie,

I've a set of the bar riser for the FJR. You can have it for S$100. from U.S.A Simple installation. It raise up addtional 2.5 inches. It's comfortable for long rides.
