tried today do some conering PIE to BKE... quite wicked man the tire... it quite sticky.. cant remember how my previous 020 feel though.....

 

but i dont know why the tire feel heavy on straight dash

I too don't have any good impression of Southern Motors when I last visited their shop (the one nearest to AV exit) and I was refered to them by a friend,

I was charge a high price for my tyres and then given a old rear tyres.

Even my friend felt so embarrassed when I told him how much I was charged.

 

I am open to any other tyre shop except this one. :sweat:

April is fine for me, no hurry can wait. :smile:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

this is my first time doing thing at southern.... i think 350 should be okay right.... for now they still exceptable... i wanna do some christmas tree.. any recommendation???

 

and repair too where do u guy normally do??? i since last time do at loois.. any other as thier waiting time is long

Errmmm... I haven't gone down to the motor-diam at Bukit Merah Lane to ask yet. I was thinking of going down to make my monthly instalments and speak directly to the boss... Cos it was the bos who agreed to give me "good price" if I change my tyres since I bought my FJR from him (guess some of you will know which motor-diam I am referring to)... :smile:

 

BTW, when and how much will be the BT021 tyres?? If I never read wrongly, HKL doesn't have stock and will only have in Apr, right? So both of you will only change in Apr??

 

I was thinking of changing mine SOON... Cos the thread for my rear tyre really almost "bo-tak" liao, I don't know how long can my rear tyre last... But most importantly, it is dangerous lei, to ride with "bo-tak" tyres. :giddy:

BT021 is $350 + balancing + pressure gauge. I will call during 1st week to confirm shipment when arrive... heard moz place do not have 180 rear tyres...

 

which motordiam u refer to??? i dunoe lehh~

 

Stock comes in april... mine also pineapple like mad liao....

Guys, went down to Southerns and HKL earlier.

 

Southerns quoted $330 for Pilot Road.

Went over to HKL to enquire and was quoted $380. How come the difference so big? :confused:

Went upstairs to talk to the boss (Ah Bee) and told him Southerns charging $330.

He couldnt believe it either and immediately called Southerns / Ah Huat, turned on the speaker and I listened to the conversation as well.

Ah Huat over the phone told him $370.

Afterwhich, Ah Bee offered me same price $370 as well.

What went wrong? Is it becos Ah Huat dun wanna spoilt market and told Ah Bee $370 instead?

 

Ps: HKL giving free digital tyre pressure guage (worth $25) for change of tyres and their balancing machine looks newer. Not sure if its regularly calibrated or not though.

 

Which shop would you choose?
