yup...

06' onward, there is 4 brake pump for front brake, means u need 4 set of brake pad for front. Been ask from HL that original brake pad will cost u $90 per pump, means $360 for front brake.

Been looking for this EBC Double brake pad long time ago, since our brake pad (06' onware) size is same like burgman and it dont really have high demand from burgman rider since it consider ex for them. Now finally got it !!! : )

hmm...?? I always thot the H&B side panniers are much much more hardy and thus, harder to pry open (or perhaps almost impossible to be pry open) than our FJR side panniers.

i thot so too bro, until i saw the broken latch.

i reckon all it takes is juz 2 simple tools and with the right technique.

ever since den, i neber leave my helmet inside my pannier when gg out (unless those cheapo open-face helmet lah).

well, even if u just leave a cheapo helmet inside, but the panniers and locks will still be spoilt due to such idiots! cant imagine that beach rd hawker also kenna :giddy:

juz my thots .... a pannier is juz a temporary storage area for u to put ur helmet or barang-barang while on the move.

advisable to bring along ur helmet / stuff after u have parked ur bike.

juz my 2 cents.

Thats a good one....

I must agree with regards to that....

If you think the item has any value (be it monetary or sentimental) its best to take it with you....

Otherwise, by choosing not to do so, it would be presumed that you accept all risks associated with leaving the items at you pannier even theft....

By the time you call in the Police, the only chance of recoverin your items and catchin the culprit is if the culprit leaves valuable evidence behind or you catch him/her on your own.....

Well, surely there are some ways to improvise it right? i happen to meet this FJR rider while I'm taking a shelter under the bridge at KJE from the rain.i asked how he had modify his panniers and this is how he did..

1) He drilled a small hole at the latch all the way into the panniers

2) inserted a screw into the hole with a nut and washer attached at the end

3) tighten the nut from inside the panniers. Voila!

the latch then cannot be pulled upwards to open instead, to open the panniers is only by inserting the key itself..it looks sturdy enough but if pple wanna steal, they also go all the way out right:sian:

I forgot to ask for his name. A chinese guy with 06 graphite FJR.
