My next trip will b in November, gg to Marang-Terengganu / Genting.

A collaboration between SG & M'sian bikers. :thumb:

Registration needed though.

 

I was thinking to celebrate either X'mas or New Year in THailang, near2 onli perhaps SOngkhla or Betong, coz my fren say quite happening lah the celebration there.

 

Maybe FJRians wanna organize? Deanz, Kazky? :angel:

Bro,wouldn't it be too heavy traffic esp during that time? and prices will be soaring sky high coz they know tourist will go there to celebrate New Year and what we are paying for 1000 baht rite now might reach to 5000baht by then.

 

Actually im rather planning tentatively lah to Phuket on January 2009.

with a bunch of bikers incld my cousin who just bought his GS1200.

still in planning lah..if confirm will let u guys know so who wanna follow can join. :thumb:

PS: My FJR also haven't touch THAILANG soil yet!! :cry:

marshalling will take place on 29th Nov (Sat)..u have to make urself free the whole day.

the other 2 dates are just sight-seeing.

Hi all,

 

Would like to enquire what is your km before hitting reserve on your FJR bikes?

 

my 04 FJR normal riding only 280~290 hit reserve liao..

Even with skipping gear technique.. manage to increase to 310km..

 

My friend 03'FJR can get to 340km before reserve..

 

anything wrong with my bike? thanks.

i'm riding the exact model as yours. just bought 1 month ago. mileage almost same as yours. abt 300 to 310km then hit reserve. on high speed touring, can be even better. but my bike time to synchronize liao. after doing that, mileage confirm even better.

Bigcow,when u say synchronise meaning to tune back ur timing chain is it?

hmm,how do u know when u gonna need to start doing that?

i know tuning of timing chain is done if ur bike above 5-6 years old lah but how exactly do u know when?

any abnormal sounds or any kind?? if anyone knows pls share too ok.

he meant the throttle bodies. mine can hit 340km as well, after i had my remus. the state of ur air filter makes a diff too.
