I was quoted $700 bucks from Unique Motors for the HEL SS brake hose. I told him mine was 02 modle, NON-ABS and NON-CBS but he said thats what the distributor said, 7 pieces....

i did ask them to bro unique say.. they say ABS not adviseable.. coz too expensive.. when u going down bro i wanna changed eo at them..

Hey bro.. long time never hear from u.

 

regarding wat ur facing now, is already experienced by many here including myself.

Yes,its a design fault but when u say abt the recalling part i dun know lah. For some reason u will get this prob when u have not done ur tyre change. It affects both 07 and 08 models.

After the 1st change,it will be better though but problem still there just slower only.

But an advise bro personally, our bike cannot use the stock Battlax 021 tyres. it easily wear off esp the front only abt 5-6 mths. This is also due to our bike's weight.

Heard the other stock Metzeler Z6 is more hardy lah and can tahan longer. But in terms of cornering, battlax021 is more superb.

 

So the best choice.....get MICHELIN PILOT ROAD 2.

Superb cornering,long tread life,power grip in dry and wet weather. Its also recommended by the UK riders and french FJR riders.

Thats for my coming tyre change. cost ard SGD$400.

Mileage currently is at 19K + , colour is the 2 tone silver n blue.

well that is 1 problem faced by the newer FJR..the later model e.g 02-04, claimed to have tank heat problem. now they overcome this but suspension next problem. The ONLY PROBLEM that remains in which i think EVERYONE will agree is the panniers lock. anytime can go off!! :giddy:

 

btw dun worry bro,will definitely call u for any upcoming ride..that time call u also but u cannot make it..

very soon short trip to Kulai again for Nasi Lemak. Have a nice ride wif ur new Michelin bro! :thumb:

For a $50 registration fee, we get 1 shirt, certificate of participation, sticker and the rest of the proceeds goes to charity...
