hello guys here... wondering if ani 1 of ur have come across a veri small sized voltmeter.. i saw it on a bike a few days ago.. nt too sure wat bike izzit, bt e volt meter is realli veri veri small..

 

its even small than e Dynamyx voltmeter which is sold out there..

Bro,there use to have a mass order here for this product but no longer is now..

What i can say is,u might wanna chk out Bikers Point at Eunos (just behind Paya Lebar S'pore Post). if u know where Unique Motors workshop juz go straight down all the way near to the end before exit..

 

Bikers Point is where usually the Goldwingers serviced their bike..the voltmeter u mention they have it there previously and i think now too. Very small,smaller than Dynamyx. Its the size of ur top line index finger.

Heh guys, anyone interested in fixing a fast throttle for your FJR? only for models from 2006 & before. price is $150. i've just fixed on my '04 FJR. wat i can say is that the throttle response improve damn alot. those interested, pls go to this following link.

i think u have to go to yamaha agent and convert it man ....and it will be expensive ..only the first batch 06fjr (if i am not wrong) got it for free ...

Got a prob guys.... My batt went flat recently pretty like "all of a sudden".

 

Bout 4 days ago in the morning, the cranking like super retarded (i mean really really really retarded, almost like the last breath of a dying old man) but managed to start. The following days also like that. Den ytd forgot to take out key and left the PO light (headlight not on) on for like half an hour. The battery died.

 

I know its normal for battery to be flat if accidents like that occur. But what I'm concern is that its used to give me symptoms like more cranks (but still strong) before the light up, followed by LCD momentarily black out during a start and finally the resetting of the trip meter during a start. But this time round, straight away all the symptoms come together at once!!!

 

I just replaced the battery. The manual says the charging voltage should be 14V at 5000 RPM. I measured the voltage at the battery terminal and only got 12.9V at 5000 RPM. Before engine start I already got 12.85 V liao...

 

Is my charging coil gone? Or my rectifier?

eh u ah..lucky i can take joke hehe. well,we ensured our fren there safe and sound all back in S'pore wif his family. but then again only our lead bike handled it alongside wif 2 other bikes from S'pore who rode up to Kulai to help settle things. Instructions from him is that we continue our journey so as not let the M'sian bikers and newscasters to wait long for us..

 

Our lead bike travel solo all the way to Kedah..now tats 1 true bikers spirit
