Hi all...

I just upgraded from my CB400 Spec 2 to Yamaha FJR1300 ABS'04 (2nd hand).

Any tips of maintaince or things or parts to watch out and pay more attention to?

 

Btw, hows the FC and how you all maintain it?

When I used to have this ride, I have tried Z6 and BT021. Both quite nice tyres, depending on what you want.

 

I changed to BT021 at HKL about 2 years ago. Cannot remember exactly how much, but think it was around close to SGD 400 or SGD 400 plus a bit at that time.

 

You may wish to find out the current exact price from HKL. :)

nope. riding 1 now. haha.... cos few months ago, Old Southern had 1 unit there for quite a while.

Michellin Pilot Sport or Road 2... U won't regret it. Shop wise, maybe others can advise. Mine charge quite ex.

Does anyone know when changing the timing chain + tensioner, which cover need to open? From what i see, only the pickup coil cover, cylinder head cover only right? Need to prepare the gaskets before I send it to my mech.
