guys, i have a problem..

just now, came back from work, and i realised the rubber strip on the outside of my left pannier (the one with the word 'yamaha' plus logo) was GONE sia! i realised the glue have not dried up, still quite thick. WTF!! i dun think i scraped any vehicle while otw back today..yesterday's evening pie traffic was bad and yet nothing happened. plus, no scratches around the area..my only other guess is that some arsehole peeled it off..ninabei..

anyway, you guys know where to get a replacement of the rubber strip? bike nice2, pannier like !@#$..

Hi anyone can recommend a small utility box to be put on the rear? Maybe a small one to put small tools or first aid kit..

Guess you are referring to something similar to what Kazky has (see his siggy)...

as suggested by some bro here, im using a cashbox, also available at MUSTAFA! Your one-stop shopping paradise! i use it to keep mainly my canvas. neatly folded first of course.

$35, near the hardware section at the 4th floor..got to have it spray-painted to match your bike colour, and get your mech to 'gay kiang' fix it. :thumb:

Sorry to hear your plight.

Just to share with you.

I left my original Yamaha strip from my right-sided pannier on NSH when I "brushed" my right pannier against the metal central divider while on my way to Hatyai few years back...

I think you can get a replacement from HL.. But think that original Yamaha "two stripes" are not cheap.

Glad that you have done what Kazky suggested...

When I was riding my ex-ride, I also bought those car bumper protectors from Mustafa. I personally feel that they worked great and better than the original Yamaha thin stripes, in terms of "protection"...

Just my 0.0000000000000002 cents worth of input.

Thank you.

So Sorry brudders, was tied up with work till late that night, So wanted that nasi lemak unforunately Work commitments...

A Thousand apologies....

Anyways, changed some stuff on my brakes just on Monday at HKL, they were giving this very loud sound since that week before i took the bike back from full servicing.

Just infor

OEM Brake Disc = $165 each (Dented due to one of the pistons going hairwire)

OEM Brake pistons = $95 each (there are 4 in each) (needed to change 2 of them from 1 side 1 was worn off and the other 1 sided)

EBC Brake Pads = $150 for 4

My suspension is really really soft, was checking with the shop called Teck Chai along Upp Serangoon) he charges ard $280 just for the rear.

Anyone knows anywhere else to go to?

Actually FJR is very common on the road nowadays, not like 5 yrs ago. The number of FJR owners in this forum represents only an extremely small amount of them.

I've got mine a few years back, different brand though. Paid 200+ with shipping.

Hey guys, I just saw a bunch of FJRs on South Buona Vista Road this morning (5/7/09) at about 11:30 AM or so. Were you guys riding? There must've been atleast 8 or so FJRs and a few other bikes. Most of them were wearing a red polo t-shirt. I was walkin by, and I wished that I was riding instead! Just curious :)

hmm...must be some group...

anyway, got a question here..we all know that BY RIGHT, we cannot paste our bike no. using stickers on our front fender, right? but of course BY LEFT, alot of fjrians do it. i was wondering if go inspection can pass not? i did the stickers but havent paste yet, and im going inspection this coming sat..so just wanna know if can just 'langgar', or do it right.
