BTW anyone got do any exhaust guard to prevent ur shoes from stepping on the exhaust n melt the soles on it??

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

mi buy over Easy Rider's slider....

 

hvn installed yet.. but pass to bike shop... they dun seem to use torque wrench to tighten....

Check your water and engine oil EVERY day. Also put mainstand and rotate tyres to check for debris.

 

Yours unlikely to have problems because it is new but you never know. My bike leave Sg water at "max" by the time hit Hatyai drop to "middle" liao (natural loss, no leak).

 

Last trip to Hatyai one KRR chui and a SV400 not enuff EO + 3 busa's all got coolent problem...

'coz my another fren planning to ride to Hatyai..... but abit long for my 1st trip on FJR.... esp having a hard time running in... everyday study like no tomorrow..... :sian:

Runner Type R jio mi go Hatyai.. Realli keen.. but 1st trip with my bike go so far up.. abit apprehensive... esp im still trying very hard to run-in the bike to make it for 1st servicing b4 the trip......

 

So was hoping for a shorter trip.... Cameron Seems a good choice esp with the cool climate..... Was tinking of Tasik Banding.... Pauche n Eddy juz went ehh... the pix lukz gooD~!!

 

But mi too busy on examz to research n plan on the routes.... :weep:

yoozz juz came back from my night ride.... hmmzzz moz expressway go liao... from AYE to ECP to TPE to SLE to BKE to KJE to PIE and back AYE.... onli ard 100km travelled niah.... still got another 500km more before next servicing.... :sian:

 

Seems my steering realli abit off.... seems to veer left always when i free hand @ 100kmph..... wonder if itz the wheel alignment problem mention on FJRowners Forum..... :weep:

You do your running in my just going round on e-way?

you are suppose to do it on small roads leh ..

you need to engage the gears... shifting up and down.. not all the way on one gear stagnent..

ermm.... heard 1 of my FJR fren said...

Its normal to drift to the left abit. cos shaft on the left mah. Another fren STX drifts to the right... cos shaft on the right mah.

ashenz just do it on normal roads.... let you gear engage .. thats the best for running in ... try not to maintain at a certain rpm also .. just give it a gradual pull or smooth acceleration..

anyway my bike also will drift to one side lah .. but mine is tilted to the right ...
