Btw, how much did you pay for the fork brace? I am thinking of installing one too.

i saw online cost around 200USD include the fork protector

Haha so far I change EO and shaft oil the rest I spend on accessories I bought clutch and brake lever ... I buy bar riser... Fork brace... Keke

Put ur bike on mainstand..

Run ur hand underneath the bike..

Just a word of wisdom..do it when bike is cold..not after u ride 

 

It could be hitting ur mainstand..

If unlucky ur exhaust header or cowling..

May I know why you changed you lever...i am tempted to change...but stock is the best component..unless it been damaged...

haha i wan to change lever cause can swtich the lever anytime with simple clicks... eaiser than stock need to push the lever behind before you can twist the knob..... and it looks better on bike too =) haha

My previous fz1s 08 magneto n coil goes kaput at 69000km... Nvr had prob with coil b4 but its advisable to change at 45000km.. Coz of my stubborness so there goes my magnto... To change coil is much much cheaper than to change e magneto...

Aint they the same thing? Unless your coil refers to Ignition coil. I doubt a burnt magnetic coil will damage your ignition coil though, vice versa...

oh... your magneto refers to the permanent magnet? You're saying better to change the coil windings regularly, else permanent magnet will deteriorate also?

Fyi, HKL quoted me 80 bucks to change fork oil seal, brake dust seal and top up new fork oil (for one side only). My fork oil starting to leak already. Sigh!

So cheap meh? The mechanic told me if I go for the oem ones they're cheaper but no guarantee how long can last. Did you change the fork oil as well? Where's the place you went to?
