Gen 1 is 02-05. Gen 2 is 06 till current. The one that's coming out is gen 3.

So if ur question is whether the 05 model is diff from the 06 onwards, for starters, 06 introduced the clutchless shifting, bigger radiation, venting ducts, adjustable fairing.

Hi,

 

I am in love with the look of the FJR. Any idea which shops is selling the 2013 model now and personally you would recommend which shops to buy?

Should I just wait for the price to settle down once it is common in many shops or should I just grab it?

Greetings everyone! I would like to check how do you mount your front licence plate for 04 FJR model. I had inspection recently and I have problem clearing due to the sticker type licence plate. Seems like they are pretty strict on this nowadays.

Damn shitty nowadays... Lucky I cleared mine in September. The proper way is of course mount it at the front fender.

By any chance if any of you guys are looking into getting good quality GOREtex jackets/raincoat. Please give my product a consideration too.

Alot of color choices and not the common brands of raincoat riders are using. Quality of water resistant is as good as NS issued. However, it's of a much thinner layers to suit our hot climate. hey guys..my fjr 08 when i start the bike..will be pretty loud..once it is warmed up...it will have dat choked sound comin from the engine..the temp readin by then would be 1-2 bar..is it normal or any laojiao can advise wad needs to be done..my mileage now btw is 100k

Wat u mean choke sound? Is the idling stable when this occur?

Insert a thermometer into the engine to measure the temperature.

 

hahahaha...

 

For all my CL2 rides, I always allow the temperature bars to rise to two bars before moving off.

 

Not sure about the rest of the lao-jiaos here.
