Ok tested Cruise Control still works at 150+km/h. However, i won't wanna be on cruise control at that kind of speed for long.

Btw, FJR 2013, Fully Up Windshield is still effective, along with my wife at 200km/h. My body and head doesn't need to fight the wind. Just needed to slouch slightly so my head doesn't feel the wind. Bike feels great. My wife didn't even knew i was at 200km/h. Btw, i feel its better to ride with 'S' Mode at high speeds because i dont need to twist my wrist that much.

Dear FJR bros, just took out my '13 FJR last Wed and I discovered that my front side compartment can't close. After checking, the clip from the cover has broken. Now the compartment is ajar 24/7. Will be bringing to HL today. Any similar experience from any bros out there?

 

*6 days old bike has to face this. So sad.

Creator....i would believe some AHole probably broke your cover trying to steal items from that compartment. Has happened to some other bros here. I recently manage to find out that a star-shaped screw dropped from the locking mechanism of my right side box. Dunno how it came lose. Can't be theft because the screw is only accessable after using the key to flip open the panel. Do check the star-shaped screws.

So far so good. Mileage already passed 5500km(Yes run in already). What i can say and will always remind all riders with new bikes, is the suspension setting. The stock Setting was totally way too soft. Very comfortable BUT very dangerous in corners. Under-steers like nobody business especially on bumps. After getting the setting closest to as the way how i want it, it's great in corners. Very nimble. The only think probably i dont like is the rear suspension has only 2 settings for pre-load. Hard or Soft. Just a flick of a lever. If possible, i would like to have the rear firmer. But i would lose out on comfort and that's what this bike is designed for. Well, cornering stability and security is just me. Been riding Superbikes and going to track occasionaly since 2006. So i'll just have to make due with what the bike can give. Plus points, The 'S' mode has alot of kick. More torque compared to my 'cross plane' R1 and never fails to excite me when i need to full bore. A little too scary at times in 1st gear.

 

Brakes are great in wet. ABS kicks in smoothly and i feel really safe with it. I dare to brake harder. Braking effeciency its more than what i expected. Seems like i dont need Brembo pads anymore.

 

Cruise control is a luxury. A good way to leave your riding kakis envious of you on the highway.

 

I think fuel consumption is great from where i come from(Supebikes). Average is 18.8km/l on highway and street riding. A full tank can give me up till 350km then my reserve bar or last bar starts flashing. Constant at 90km/h can give about constant 25-27km/l. And according to the range meter, maybe the bike can go up to 450-500km if maintained 25-27km/l throughout the whole fuel tank. If more street riding and stopping, Mileage around 320km then reserve kicks in. I may be wrong, but i seem to be getting better fuel consumption with Higher Octane (SPC 8000) compared to (SPC5000).

Yes it is the Digi Speedo.

I got it for about $33.5K if i remember correctly.
