Hopefully to see D, L1, L2, P and R. For City riding, can just switch to D and ride like a Auto gear Scooter, approaching Ipoh/Cameron/Genting and etc... can switch to Titronic.

Guess someday we will see that. Hope Yammi is the 1st to instal it on their bikes.

bro if that the case de there is no fun in riding...

and there wont be skill riders in this world..

Looking through the list of improvements, it would be ideal if we could chose what we wants to upgrade, I would like these:-

2006

Advanced air management system and new bodywork, keep the FJR looking and feeling cool.

New sharper-looking bodywork and air-management system keep the bike and rider much cooler; a new central vent beneath the instrument panel now cools the rider and reduces negative pressure, and new fairing side panels with 1.2-inch adjustability let the rider direct airflow.

New, curved radiator with revised ducting and twin-ring cooling fans keep engine and cockpit cool.

Standard equipment Unified Braking System w/ABS: The front brake lever activates six of the eight front braking pistons and two rear pistons; the rear brake pedal activates two rear pistons and the other two front pistons—for balanced anti-lock braking in all conditions.

Redesigned instrument panel reflects the FJR1300’s premium quality, and now includes real-time fuel mileage, average fuel mileage, air temp gauge and gear-position indicator.

new mirrors are easy to adjust and retract horizontally.

a 12V outlet for phones, GPS units, electric vests, etc.

:lovestruck:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

All that's missing is...

1) Cruise control switch

2) Reverse gear

3) Hydraulic main stand (why not?)

Or Honda will introduce for their flagship equivalent, namely the STX.

yea.. there are alot of arguments over which is better.. But having no clutch lever is not riding to me anymore..But the 06' FJR A i dun think have all the air vents and stuff rite..

it'll be great if they have another version of AE just without the YCCS and CBS..

Anyone faced the problem of idling?

1) Every time when its cool down and start to warm up, the initial high rpm i understand its for warming up the bike. But once u reached abt one bar temp. the idling drop to slightly more than 500 rpm only. And it seems going to die off. Its maintain for quite sometime ard 500rpm and sounds unstable.Once i rev, it rev not very smoothly at first. After a few rev than its smoothen out.

2) Once even warm up and travelling for awhile with temp bar 2-3. Sudden quick and short rev at the stop will cause my engine to cut. Even if it does not cut the throttle respone it not smooth. it sounds like fuel blaoting initially and then rev up smoothly..

Any season FJR owner can advise.. Tks..

Ur idling is too low liao...

Manual recommends 1000-1100rpm when idling. U mention urs is slightly above 500 only.. Try increasing it lor..

Mine initial as usual.. Drops to 1200rpm.. I wait another 30 secs it'll drop to 1000rpm. Den when i ride and it gets really warmed up, it'll go back to 1100-1200rpm.

Wow urs is high compared to mine. My warm up normal idlingis 900rpm. It always drop to 500rpm initially during warm up. Urs 1000 to 1100rpm things will be quite high fual comsumption. Comfirm my normal idiling is only 900rpm. Might be the case thanks for the advise. U know how to adjust? tks

normal idling shud be ard 1000rpm to 1200rpm... tink i but mine @ 1100rpm.... 'coz was @ 1000rpm before... but moi mechanic says mine still abit low... no smooth throttling...

idling is adjusted tru a knob at the right side of the bike... juz below the tank... behind the fairing... shud be able to adjust by hand.... clockwise to increase rpm.. vice versa... but hv to turn abit more to increase... rem to adjust while engine is warm... not when warming up when idling still unstable..

But heard of ur engine cut probz before.... if after adjusting the idling... still like dat..... den Shud be probz with ur throttle sensor/housing..... tink after chaning dat shud solve the probz....
