I was there 1 plus, 2pm. Went in the back so didn't see your bike until I left (riding on the main road).

Got the Z1 green meanie, that's why sold the Fazer, at a big loss (after 6mths) :( At least it's settled, so I can concentrate on modding the Z1 :)

The Z750 heat up real quick when stuck in traffic jam, within 5 mins temp rose from 74-92, is this normal?

Travelling is ard 74-82 deg and usually when I reached home ride up the MSCP its already 100 deg c and the fan will turn on.

Yep. Very normal. The radiator is small. Dun worry you'll get used to it.

Thanks I open up the left hand side to check the reserve coolant reservoir and it shows full so I guess its normal.

Also found out that the left headlight is for high beam and the right side is the normal beam, initially thought the left bulb was burnt as only the right side lit up.

Took it out and it was a H7 bulb, cost $85 for a pair for osram brand at Hankook showroom at woodlands. It was quite ex so I try plugged a good H4 spare bulb I have on the left socket to test and it only lighted up upon turning on the high beam switch which confirm the left socket is for high beam and right socket for normal beam, so just put back the original H7 bulbs which is in good condition.

I had the same thought. FYI, in the overseas forum, there's a mod for dual headlight, i.e. both lights on at the same time.

thanks will make a search and KIV for my next project as I find the light quite dim with only one bulb on.

Have clean the dry dirty chain and sprocket with kerosene, it now reveals a shiny gold D.I.D chain and a NewSun sprocket. At the same time I DIY the scottoiler to dual dripper as its not flowing due to clog and a missing dispense tip.

Next will check the front brake calipers and brake pads as there is a screeching sound during braking. Will also need to bleed the front brake as it feels spongy even it has steel brake hose.

Also found the top left hand cam cover gasket showing sign of crack, lucky no oil leaking yet, have already contacted New Chen Credit in JB for spares. Will do the valve clearance check myself if the engine oil leaks.

The D.I.D chain is cleaned with kerosene and oiled by scottoiler, notice oil is flung to the rim, I have since reduce the oil flow back to setting 3 from 4.

The Kawasaki Z750 is quite fuel efficient for a Cl2 bike, I pumped 14.5L to the rim after travel for 268km which equate to 18.48km/L. Travelling 80% high way and 20% city, average speed about 100-110km/h, tire pressure front 36psi, rear 42psi as per recommended by manufacturer. Fuel tank capacity is 18 L hence it can go till 330km
